I can't find these anywhere, so me being the refinisher
I cleaned them up. Touched up the black and wet sanded .
clear coat x3 wet saned and buffed out.
not like nib but pretty close!

 

600 miles there and back. Went to Lumberton, NC for work and had a blast great ride better weather.

 

Rear strut brace.

Looking for an OEM rear itr strut brace but no luck!
So think, think, think! A distant memory came to the surface. At around 10 o'clock last night a rear strut bar is located in "the stash". Today along with other obligations I found a little time to try and get this EG bar to resemble an itr bar.

It was fun, free and now I can take those corners at 30mph lol.
But it'll show well at the sumospeed night ; ^ )

Changed the oil and filter yesterday.
Used a great product call Motorkote with Mobil1 synthetic 5-30.
13 oz of mk and 3.5 qts m1.
Holy molley what a difference quite #1, and in 1st gear it has always wanted to lurch a little, but today no lurching in morning traffic! I was surprised. Power was the best its ever been. For 23.00 for the oil and 25.00 for the additive and another 10 for the filter, for my car it was money well spent.
The motorkote can treat up to 4 - four cylinder motors, 2oz. per qt.

It's a great product, expensive but if you want a new paint look this really works!

This paint on my teg is original, no repairs, and it's 20 years old. Not always kept up with. I suspect the grandson didn't wash or wax the car. So there are blemishes from bug guts are all over the front end. But it's still the original paint. I've buffed, waxed ,ceramic waxed it.
But the combo of armorall smooth as butter and mirror shine on black paint is hard to beat.

 

 

Bayson R makes great fitting parts for a lot of manufacturers.
No heat gun, if it states that in the description keep looking.

 

These are EOS cheap price, great fit. But the edges are pretty ragged, not very noticeable after in place. They use the best double sided tape! They stay in place.
And really close to OEM at a glance. Which are 500.00 nib price. : ^ 0
