justin: i've heard wrapping headers actually isn't the best thing for them...do aftermarket headers (like mugen) run that hot?

crap...talk about no space, thats tight as hell! i wonder if the jacksons took any other extra precautions, or if the hoses are a bit more heat resistant?

So after all that work have there been any issues with this kit so far? I know that oscar and kraftwerks have been on this project for a super long time, but you never know what can happen in the shipping and mass production.

Oh, does anyone have this thing on fully running good to go 100% done besides chris?

Illusive's Fit is now SC'd and running under it's own power.

Power delivery is very smooth and it now feels normal and gutsy not underpowered and gutless like mine

lol its definitely a lot more enjoyable! Couple things to note:

1: Air Filter and hose connector are rubbing against the fiber board underneath the hood. Will probably end up cutting away 1/3 of it for clearance.

2: Vibrating metal on metal sound, probably a brake line vibrating against the frame or against one another. Only happens when I'm under load and accelerating. More noticeable in 1st and 2nd gear, but can still hear it every so often in other gears usually at higher RPMs (>3k).

Anyways, just some minor details to sort out.

Big thanks to JDMish and Mr_ET for installing the SC for me! It was one helluva project, but it was definitely worth it! Left JDMish in my dust when we went for a first drive! Thanks to YeeFit for saving us a hell of a lot of time with wiring in those gauges.

If it wasn't raining today, I was going to take her out and make a vid. Too bad

The spooling of the SC under load sounds soooooo aweeesome!!! It's taking in so much air, I can hear the intake from inside the car hahaha!

You don't "need" gauges with the KW kit, just if you want them. You might be better off not getting them if your parents will get upset, and especially if you can't even see (and enjoy) them.
