KraftWerks Supercharger Kit Info v3.0
but for $800 = full exhaust, $50 = intake, intake manifold = 500, aem fi/c = 450 with a tune you can get 120-125hp all motor, that's less than $1900 for the same HP you'd get with the SC and they're mods you'd already be doing.
:-/

Just installed the new Rev2 manifold today (Woot!). I noticed the velocity stacks inside have been extended out by about an inch compared to the old one. The volume is larger as well; the result?
Pretty sure I just gained power throughout the entire bandwidth. Get to prove it on the Dyno on the 6th! Woohoo
For all you SC guys, I would recommend the manifold too, not just for power, but also for getting better access to everything. I just helped un-install Illusives SC. The WR manifold would make it way easier to access things like the injectors and the belt.
besides, if i go f.i., i'll be waiting to do the a/t that IS NOT just the base version that has the least amount of gains. besides, i've not even seen a dyno for the a/t yet, or one with full h/e and upgraded injectors and the reflash if its available.
remember a/t guys look at this differently.
and i still think your numbers are optimistic. 35 WHP with just what you mentioned? there are guys rocking classic performance honda motors that can't even do that, much less with the cost that you are talking about.
I think this just got better BTW;

so illusive took it off huh? is he going turbo?
for the a/t the gains on the tr1 kit so far are 135 to the wheels. i wish i had an a/t kwsc to compare it to.
if the a/t kraftwerks can do 120hp+ to the wheels (representing a nice +35hp to the wheels for an a/t guy) i'll forgo the extra 15whp for driveability and less cost to own.

I love my T1R turbo.. it was much faster than Illusives KWSC MT @ 5psi.... more like A LOT FASTER!
don't forget that those AT numbers are at 4.5psi. You can easily boost to 6psi which should bring you up to 155hp/150tq range. And peak torque is at 3500rpms.. turbo spools at 2000rpms so there's very little lag.

Also, looking for a ride in the passenger seat on Sunday! Still have yet to ride in a Turbo Fit.
I'm sure these people all "love their kits", because so do I! But that doesn't necessarily mean we all got the results we were looking for. Happy? Sure, why not. But satisfied? NO. Not with the results of the product (at least in my case), and definitely not with the company!
chaseerry, you hit the nail on the head by saying there was too much hype about this kit. Although, the hype was perfectly justifiable, because the POTENTIAL of the product was (and still is) incredible! I'm not trying to say that the kit hasn't met expectations, even though there were a few occurrences of sub-par results. But the potential means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING without some sort of action. Kraftwerks did their job and delivered a working, thoroughly tested, product with all of this potential. But that potential relied on more than just the base kit!
We were promised that before the end of the summer, MT guys would have available: the base kit, a high boost upgrade, and the injector upgrade. There was even talk early on about a front-mount intercooler. Well guys???
Summer is rapidly coming to an end, and all we have is the base kit, and a handfull of empty promises. How many times has the injector upgrade been pushed back? 4? 5? 6 times? Last week it said "Releasing this August!", and once again it's jumped to "this fall!" Well, this fall starts in 3 weeks and lasts another three months! I don't even F&^%$NG WANT IT ANYMORE!!! I'm ready to sell my frickin car and SWALLOW the 3.5K+ dollars i've spent on this thing! And with each delay I get a PM saying
You obviously DONT understand my frustration, because if you DID, I would have the Full Kit already, OR my money back.
I hate to break it to you guys, but thats not how a business works. At least not a good one...
And the high boost kit? No price, no release date, no numbers, nothing. All you have is your little hype-man running around telling everybody how awesome Kraftwerks is and how fast his car is. And I've been sitting here patiently, fingers crossed, for a single update, a light at the end of the tunnel, but no... let down again.
Now I'm stuck here with 113 horsepower, and I really regret buying the kit in the first place. So far, its been a waste of my time, a huge waste of my money, and frankly, a waste of my car.
To anybody who IS satisfied with empty promises and a potentially great product from an unfulfilling company, God bless you for having more patience than me! To anybody considering purchasing the KWSC, i would recommend one of the following. Either WAIT until the full kit, high boost and all, is released and you KNOW the final numbers. OR find a different route of forced induction.
Whatever, i have to wake up in 3 hours, im done...
Lets see how long it takes for this to get deleted

I'm really sorry to hear about all you've been through, and I can't blame you for feeling that way. I would urge you not to sell the fit though, as the high boost kit will come out eventually, and selling the fit and eating the s/c cost would leave a REALLY bad taste in your mouth.
So, while I really don't want to say "just wait," as that's what caused this problem, I would at least urge you to not sell the fit. I thought about doing that, but selling the fit and trading for another car would have left me in a really bad situation financially (I'm upside down on my loan because I have 40k miles), not to mention I bought the fit for more reasons than speed (well, duh I guess).
Despite what I think I'm sure you'll do what you think is best, but my friendly opinion is to spare yourself the pain of trading just because of a bad mod experience.
You could always sell the s/c and go turbo like me! :-D

I also was fairly dissapointed with the finished product. Just for the record I looked over Yeefit's T1R turbo install and took it for it's maiden voyage with him and for the same amount of money was much more impressed with that kit.
I think the KWSC kit makes much less power but is simpler and will offer slighly better heat management and reliability. With that said, I have a REALLY hard time justifying the money spent on the SC kit for the results and the need for more money and upgrades to take it to where it should be.
Last weekend, I removed that KWSC kit from that car and the check engine light went away as did all the other clearance problems.
I think the F/I options for this car are still in it's infancy to be honest and that it will get a lot better in a few months/year but we should learn to be patient since this is still a new plateform and new engine to us.
I think with better engine management and more boost, the KWSC kit could really be a great kit but feel that in its base kit it somewhat underdelivers.
I am still confident that KW is a great company and they will bring out a great product but I think some of us may have jumped the gun a bit too quickly.
