Is this a legitimate opinion survey or a dirty advertising trick

Great, I took the survey. Personally, this kinda crap is getting a bit out of hand here lately. We've got everything from gei porn (filtered) ads to emo sites, to vampires, et al. What does any of this have to do with the Fit or the automotive hobby in general? And what kind of impression does it make for first-timers who come looking for info about the Fit? A buyout is nice if the end result is of real benefit to the members of the community that's being bought, but when it's just used as a cash cow for the buyout company (IB) with no real regard for the community, that's when I get pissed. Unfortunately, nothing's gonna change, right?

edit: gotta love this, I can't even type *** w/o it being filtered, but the gei porn ads can show it no problem. What BS. (BTW, I don't have anything against homosexuality, the ads just happen to be ironic considering the text filtering)

 

LMAO! You know, I think those website text ads are based on your historical site visits to determine what you are most likely to visit.

I know a lot of you guys have add blockers, which is great except that when enough people use them they will just engineer another way to advertise on your screen. I don't block them as my own way of supporting the site.

Ok, if this is a dirty trick officially this goes past the line of being just misleading and now falls into a fruadulant advertising catagory.

There is nothing about that ad that can be interpreted any other way, it is a blatent lie and by definition this is fruad.
