I said NEVER. I ordered my car with HFP rims. I never had sport rims to begin with.

Yea of all the areas I visited I did like Kingwood. Never been to Deerpark.

So I take it fits are pretty rare in TX right? I didn't see many when i was out there.

Stock ones are fairly common around here; however, it is not too often to see a modded one. At least, that is what I have been noticing.

I saw a blue Fit that looked just like yours north east of Austin in Round Rock about 8 or 9 months ago and another Fit that was tricked out a little near White Rock Lake in Dallas and all of the rest were bone stock.... There are more around Austin than anywhere I have been...... I had mine for over a year before I ever saw another one and it was a Blue one just west of Athens. The last one I saw was near Noon Day south of Tyler earlier this week.

I've never seen a modded GE, I don't think. I am constantly looking at cars on the road no matter what I'm interested in, but I've had my eye on the Fit since it came out and nothing yet. I've seen a few GDs around for sure.

Anyone down for an Austin meet sometime? How many Central Texas people are on here? I've noticed, what seem like, quite a few.

I've only seen 4 modded ones so far, all of which were GDs. Jason's (Saved), Rene's (Loza), a VBP with anodized blue Rotas, and a Milano Red Sport with a carbon fiber hood.

As for the next meet, I don't know when or where it will happen; but I do know that the last one was in Austin during the Cupcake Meet.

Ah - didn't make it to that. I thought it was going to be lame when I heard about it, but once I saw some pics people took, I will have to make it to the next one if they have it in Austin.

I forgot that FitFlowjoe and I met in Trinity and drove up here to do some back road driving and his car is set up for Auto X and looks real nice..... It runs strong too. He was wanting to drive a car with the KWSC and was supposed to get the 10 PSI kit but I haven't heard whether he has yet or not. Have a nice trip and be on the lookout for gators, both kinds.

Will do, I wish Kraftwerks made a higher boost kit or some other parts that would put an A/T at around 135WHP. Having those longer gears are great for fuel mileage on long highway trips, but suck for passing and in stop and go traffic.

You never know how the meets may turn out.

The best thing I did to improve my car was Enkei RPF1 wheels and 16lb tires... That is the best way to get better acceleration and a whole lot of other improvements in handling, braking comfort gas mileage and extending the life
of steering , brakes, drive train, and suspension components. USMC0341has his KWSC automatic kit for sale and if you add the inter cooler it would develop more power......I have the upgrade kit ordered to be shipped by Tuesday.... I will be somewhere over 160 HP in a couple of weeks or so. Boost is addictive, even to old men.

Well, their promotional materials didn't really help pique my interests. Sorry. The women are nice, but it just looked cheesy.

Cosign on the boost comment. My uncle has a BMW 535 and that thing books for a 3800lb car, its so fun to drive.

I also had reducing the unsprung weight on mind whenever I was choosing my rims, but when it came time for new tires I gotten 205/55s opposed to 195/55s or 205/50s. That was a mistake; but, the Fit now has a stance from behind that I love, reminds me of a WRC car whenever I look at the tires, and the speedo error is fixed. LOL

I do miss the quicker acceleration with the lighter 195/55s, but not so much as the grip or lack there of. Right now I'm debating on whether to get new tires, wheels and tires, or continue penny pinching for other stuff. Decisions, decisions...

I never seen the flyer or any other advertisement for the Cupcake Meet; I just knew that there were a few Texans who had met up the same day of the CCM and headed to it.
