I keep worrying about what will not fit and finding that I can cram a lot of stuff in it with the seats all still up. The other day it was:
2 50# cases of potatoes
1 case escarole (bulky!)
1 case fennel
5 bags of groceries
with no obstructions of the view out!
Love it!

cheffyjay thats is impressive! I was suprised the read the items in the car should only be stacked so high so the side air bags can do there job. I wonder if that includes the rear hatch area?

I have two coolers camera stuff and lots of laundry to go to the comercial front load machine. Its impressive. I like it better then a truck.

Within a couple of weeks after I got my Fit, I picked up two college kids at the airport, flipped one of the back seats up, plus used the hatch, and packed an incredible amount of luggage into the car, some of it oversized and bulky. When they saw the car from the outside, they thought I'd have to make two trips. I've also hauled two big dogs plus a pet taxi to the vet, then added pet supplies in the back for the trip home, with room to spare.
