Got back from Temple a few min ago--that's about 2.5 hours away.

Sold my stockers to help fund the new tires, lol.

 

Did you take 31 to I35?.... There's nothing like the 90MPH semis glued to your ass between Waco and Temple.

 

Yeah took some FM's to 45 and then 45 business over to 31...31 to Waco, 35 to Temple

It was a nice drive. I managed to get an indicated 44.8 mpg on the way back...indicated 42 mpg on the way there (loaded down with wheels/tires)

I went to Dallas yesterday and managed an average of 31.7 doing some inner city driving with the A/C running full tilt... The recent exhaust changes cost me a little torque in the lower revs and the noise had me sweating every time a cop car was close by but they never looked my way... Maybe the wanted to stay in their cars and soak up the cool air.

 

LOL yeah, I know the feeling--

It was cool on the way up there...had to meet up at 9am. A/C was on level 1 and not at all the way cool.

The way back was hot though...had to run the a/c on level 2 almost the whole way.

Nada--just waiting on centercaps to complete my wheels. Sigh.
