The singular bolt used to hold the trans side of the engine up was a "grade" 10.9 M8x1.25 with 30mm length.
A grade 12.9 would be a more confident choice, but this one, even with cuts made for thread chasing, didn't bend. Also, thread chasing was helpful.

More torquing, this time with my non-ratcheting 0-50 beam type. I desperately want to retire this, but don't have $180 to spend on the Hazet 5110-3CT
Why a weird brand that only reads in newtons? Because the first 20% of your torque wrench's range is not calibrated, and lots of bolts need to torque to ~ 18ft.lbs... Which is beyond an in.lb wrench, and beneath the standard 20-100

Finding room to torque -- Yes, adding extensions does compromise the accuracy of torquing fasteners. But what'cha gonna do?

This bolt! Which, yeah, they want you to replace all the mount bolts. I'm not doing that. Clean and teflon.

Mhm.. Note alignment there with the mount bracket -- I had to mess with the engine support thingy that I modified in order to get this up to proper height

Here I'm cleaning teflon off of fasteners I'm supposed to replace.. They aren't torque-to-yield as far as I know, and it's just for a mount, so, teflon threadlocker.

See above -- both sides are crack-free. I'll be damned if I ever buy another Anchor or DEA Marmon mount. Those are shit.

Here's the OEM, original rear transmission mount/torque strut. Still looks good.

These pins are supposed to stay with the engine. They did not, and that's perfectly fine. What matters is that they're both on one or the other, and that you do your best not to damage them, as they and the transmission input shaft are what holds the trans up until you bolt it to the engine..

Here I'm pointing to the alignment pins. I recommend greasing the holes that will receive the pins during assembly (so as to avoid smearing grease on stuff). Using grease helped SUBSTANTIALLY

clutch release bearings. I went with the NSK for no real reason. both had shielding that was/is visually off-center.. The NSK did rotate with more ease... Yeah. Chosen based on nothing.

Transmission input shaft bushing irregular wear..
If I were a transmission guy, I might sleeve this. I am not and do not know how -- soft pass.
