In your earlier
good post on the available short ram intake systems, you used the
OLD K&N Typhoon SRI photo. This design is
no longer made because K&N admitted that it was
not designed properly for the Fit. The new design has a
MUCH smaller "heat shield" that looks more like a tray or cookie sheet. It does
NOT prevent hot air from the radiator from entering the intake, and it does not prevent rain from entering at the leading edge of the hood and soaking the exposed filter.
People looking for a good quality performance intake should NOT buy the K&N Short Ram. For new members, I have two threads full of personal research on the K&N system, and a "war" with K&N. BAD QUALITY!!!.
