i my self would recommend the t1r bmax over weaponR. alot of folks complain of quality and fitment issues with alot of weaponR's products for the fit.

Im assuming the intakes made for 08's wont work for 09s due to the different body and engine will they? Is there any intakes for the 09's yet?

After totaling my '07 with the new PRM intake on it, I drove home yesterday in a new '09 Sport. Your first sentence is absolutely correct. No 1st. Gen intake will fit the new Fits. The engine bay is smaller on the new ones, battery and intake system are both in different places. I am not aware of any performance intakes being available for the '09s, but I will contact Gerry at PRM and offer measurements for him to adapt his great intake system to the new Fits. I will wait for PRM, and will not buy any other new intake.

PRM now has a design of their "Jet Stream" Intake for the GE8 Fits. Their first production lot is in progress right now, and should ship in a week or two. I have one of those coming to me, and will get installed the day it arrives- will post a review within a couple of days after that.

Nope. PRM makes very good intakes, and IMO, the '09 Honda Fit stock intake was an afterthought and is poorly designed. Next, I will make my own exhaust system using a stainless steel Aero Turbine muffler while keeping the stock cat back system up to the axle.

Do they make Tsuchinoko intakes for Honda Fit? I went to AJ and they had them for Integra, S2K, but no fit. Please lecture me on this.

Has anyone tried the HKS racing suction intake kit? It looks sweet, and I'm thinking of changing out my fujita CAI soon. The HKS racing suction seems to be one of the intakes less seen and talked about kits among fit owners.

I'm looking into the HKS Super Mega Flow Reloaded kit for the Fit. I was wondering if anyone had any pics of it installed, and I'm assuming it makes no difference between A/T or M/T.

Thanks, that website is pretty nice. But the HKS intake looks kinda ugly. Maybe I'll go with the Top Fuel intake. I know it looks nice, but I wonder what the performance is on it. Maybe in the end I'll just end up dropping a Spoon filter in my stock air box.
