I see your in West Covina,
Take your car to spot free wash
Off lark Allen and San bernadino
Great car wash place.

I always pay like 6 bucks tops and I take my sweet time.
Every so often I clay and wax my car there.
I always use there soap there.

products for detailing, well just depends
Everyone has thier favs, I have used mothers, smart wax, meguiars,
They are all great products

I always look who has a better deal at oreilly
Most of the time it's mothers lol
I like thier synthetic wax, leaves a nice shine, also thier carnauba wax is great, smells good too.
Also their clay bar is wonderful. Always leaves it nice and shiny, and of course very soft,
Do the clay and then a wax, and your set to go leaves it new!
I always use microfiber towels as well, I feel like anything else will scratch, espiecally if you have a black car.
But that's just me
Also if you like tire shine, my fav is armor all gel shine,
Alsways leaves a nice dark shine and last long.
That's all I can think of now, I'm always cleaning my car
At least once a week, hate being in a dirty car

find a shade.. pressure wash your car starting from top to bottom.
spend a little extra time on lower part of your car, the wheels, and wheel wells.
prepare 2 buckets, one with plain water, other with liquid soap and water.
i clean the wheels first, with a foam that i use only for wheels and lower part of my car.
clean one wheel and then rinse off, as soap dries and leaves spots.
then start from the top using microfiber mitt/ lambskin mitt.
do one section at a time( around 3-4 sq. ft.)
clean the mitt by rinsing in the plain water bucket.
just glide the mitt over the body. DO NOT rub against the surface.
after cleaning the car with the mitt and soap, rinse the car thoroughly.
then use fresh microfiber cloth/ chamois cloth, and pat dry your car starting from top to bottom. try not to rub/ glide over the surface. (patience pays)
and finally clean your wheels with mf towel, (use a separate towel for this job).
apply little wax on your foam pad and start in a to and fro motion starting from top coming to bottom. wait till it gets hazy.
and then use dry mf towel in to and fro motion to remove the residue
just jerk off the mf towel frequently.
i use this method for swirl free shine.

I use autoglym brand products because they are good quality and readily available in my area. If not, Meguiars and mothers is alright, if you find the which products you like in each line.

My wash ritual:
One bucket with grit guard and autoglym auto shampoo and paint conditioner
One bucket with grit guard and water for rinsing the dirt out of my cloth
After hosing off the worse of the dirt, I give the car a once over with very light scrubbing and I don't worry about stuck on tree sap or bird poo; I use mothers claybar system for that after I've washed.

If I really want to do a thorough job I'll follow up with a claybar of the whole car, polish then wax. I use autoglym HD wax and the results are fantastic and it takes little effort.

I would advise against using a pressure washer as you can damage the paint of the car. If you do, use a very low setting and be careful!

I swear by Klasse Polish & their Sealant Glaze. As far as car wash soap, almost any good quality DEDICATED car wash soap will be fine. Technique is the key. Wash in shade, start top to bottom, separate wash MIT for wheels and lower rockers, soap wash bucket AND clean rinse bucket to rinse your wash mits as you go.

b) SmartWax Wax (perfect after a good wash with Cemical Guys)
c) Croftgate Tire Shine (for the same crap above)
d) Meguiars Clear crap
Results: Clean smooth shiny car for the next month or so.. All it takes is a wipe down with a micro fiber and SmartDetail spray atleast half way through the month..

I ALSO SELL Croftgate products like Aquanil X, Project X, Quik n Slik, Tire Shine, and other crap by croftgate..

Overall I Wash and wax my care once every 2 months.. the days and weeks between if i start seeing little dust, I just do a waterless wash or just a smartdetail wipe down.. and its back to its stage as if it was just washed and waxed.. I Cant put drinks on the roof cuz they slide down.. People can barely lean on the car cuz its slippery.. lol.. But yea just find the products that youre best with and make it a habit..
