Blackberry Pearl? Where do you got that color name from?
Honda have allready a color named Black Amethyst Pearl. Is that the same color, or is this Blackberry a new one... unlikely.
Actually I have a Black Amethyst Pearl Jazz 1.4LS CVT (2007) and I just LOVE that color. When it is overcast the color just look dark violet but when the sun shines it just sparkles and got shades of dark and bright fields on it.

But back to the 2008 model of Honda Jazz/Fit.
Is it wise to speculate so much and post pictures when Honda themself has not put out any info on the new model? The car will offcourse not be so diffrent from todays 2007 model because it is a very popular car. It would be very stupid of Honda to change too much on the design and risk loosing all the fans of this nice little car.

1 more year. Yes we said 1 more year until the full model change of this very popular yet low production vehicle. Don't expect any major changes to this entry level vehicle for 08. The 2007 build-out is for August arrival vehicles so expect 2008 models to begin arriving in September. What you will see new for 2008 will be a few new colors. Look for Tidewater Blue Metallic (Base and Sport) and Blackberry Pearl (Sport Only). All interior colors will come with Black interiors. Taffeta White and Lunar Mist Metallic will be discontinued.
We have an '07 Taffeta White Sport/AT on order due to arrive sometime in mid-July. Does this mean it could be one of the last White Fits delivered to North America???
The color seems very popular on the forums. It's hard to imagine the line-up without the white.
Adding to the oddity of the situation, we have specified the beige interior-- also designated to be discontinued.
I'd be interested to know the breakdown on the '07 unit numbers of the individual colors sold in the USA. Which color sold the most units, which the least?
Don't know about the colors, but now the pundits pretty much agree that the JDM Fit will be completely redesigned and released in late September/early October of this year. Honda has just released several super-value editions of the Fit that come standard with HID and even a navigation system (and all for under US $13.5 K equivalent for 1.5L CVT!). Most in Japan are taking these value editions as a sign for the beginning of inventory clearance. If the above forecast is right, the all-new production Fit should be moving on the Suzuka No. 2 Line by late August. At that time, plenty of unofficial photos should become available.
I have been asking for this for years! I have had 4 CRXs and a RT4WD Civic Wagon, and now they have all been replaced by an 07 Fit Sport which I love, but would def go for a new CRX!!!
I bought the 07 Fit expecting them to make a new heavier more computer controled and optioned up bloated version soon. The 07s (maybe 08s too) will be the same as the old HF crxs..... Lighter and more tuner friendly

will it be cheaper then to buy in august for the last 2007 or should i just order mine now.i want the white sport
Don't know about the price. You might want to checkout jacksan1 above. I do know that the dealer informed us that ordering the TW Sport with the biege interior is what made for our nearly 3 month ETA. Could have had it earlier if we had opted on the black interior.

Ha, funny Im actually waiting for the exact same time. I would check back to your dealership around the 4th of July, I dont see why they wouldn't have a sale. Were you looking for the beige or black interior?
just came back from the dealer and they told me it was gonna be a 3 month wait as well now about those hid being included with navi for 13k,when,where can i order that?is it in japan only?

Unfortunately, those are only for Japan, where they are starting a clearance for the current model.
hi i am in the market for a new car and i am seriously considering the fit so i was wondering when the 08 is supposed to come out and if it going to be a major redesign or just a minor update
i want to get a car now but its not too urgent so i dont mind waiting a month or two if it means i can get the newest model
i guess what im asking if the 08 is supposed to come out late this summer or not until later and if it is a major redesign
the other car i am considering is the scion xd but that doesnt come out to late summer anyway
oh and my last question is what is the waiting timeframe on a fit i heard they were bad from a friend whos a fit owner but that was last july

Im still waiting for the next small 2 seater though... the crx, the del sol, and then the lineage died... If they came out with another affordable sporty 2 seater, i think the fit would also be going back...
Fine by me. A newer, flashier version would draw a car thief's attention further away from my 2007. The 2008 won't make my new Fit any less beautiful in my eyes...

The lineage didn't die... it went CRX, Del Sol, S2000.
