Does anyone know what differences in size there are between the current and the '09 Fit? I haven't seen anything here other than it's a little wider...
I dig the current car but the wife thinks it's a tad too small for the both of us + the munchkin...

Changes are minimal where they're not needed, but made where they count the most.
Can't wait for a KNOWLEDGEABLE reviewer to look at one and with real numbers compare to 08 and older. The video above is pretty clueless. The front A pillar extension according to him resulted in more leg room in the back seat and my rear storage room.
Someone by this idiot a tape measure..............
Any idea of what the price of the new Fit will be?
one of the auto sites vids (cant remember which one) from the ny auto show said the price would be about the same as the current fit. whether that was speculation, assumption or based on fact, i dunno.
nope, still not feeling it.....
But I did just notice the back end, its very sloped and up swung. So the rear should create less drag than the current one. GO MPG!...if it actually gets worse mpg then slap me silly and call me Suzi!
...but that front end profile....gosh...as an artist....I AM OFFENDED!!!
haahaaa....
I have to admit that telescopic steering wheel and few other things are "growing on me", but I decided to see the platypus beak for myself in person before making final judgment.
New front might be OK in person until somebody does a conversion and parks next to you! Then you will be looking for an ax or a chain saw!
We are scraping on driveways with OEM height up front never mind lowered. New car will be the same. Lets face it - it was designed as JDM/Euro spec and NA version is an afterthought.
Who ever comes up with a nice, fat skid plate will earn a fortune on us!
