KraftWerks Supercharger Kit Info v4.0
maintenance-wise it's just like changing your tranny oil during regular intervals. rule of thumb i think is every other oil change. as for what is uses, the tranny cooler is just like a radiator. you drive and it catches air while the tranny fluid flows through it.
if i provided any bad info, please correct me if i'm wrong...
That often on A/T fluid changes? Really? I was at around 75000 on the odometer when I had mine changed out. Maybe I'll do it more often now that the KraftWerks kit is installed but definitely not every other oil change.
it should probably be changed every 40k miles, or 25k if you drive the fit hard. or make it easier on yourself and maybe do it every year.
i don't have the owner's manual handy, but does anyone remember what it says in regards to this?
you know i actually goofed on that one. i was thinking about rotating tires every other oil change, not tranny fluid. my mistake...

i'll have to check. there is a specific code on the maintenence minder that pops up and reminds you when to do it, and at almost 40k i've not seen it yet.
my fit sees about 85% highway miles, and when i got my car inspected, i had the honda tech tell me i should flush it out because it was 'discolored'. this dealer is known for ripping people off,so i just passed on his offer.
i agree about changing it more often after installing the charger...question is, would the maintenence minder call for it more often?

crap. so basically, i'll have to change it sooner.

Yes sir. I have been sidetracked with internal projects, but we received injectors just before the holidays. Injector upgrade kits will be available shortly, I just have to get my act together.

in the vendor forum, oscar said that while there is no plans for a a/t highboost, a hondata MAY be in the works.
so we have base 5 psi, 5psi w/upgraded injectors and maybe 5psi upgraded injectors, hondata? (maybe the hondata version could at least up the boost without being called the 'high boost' as it would be less than 10 psi, maybe like 6-7?)
if the the upgraded injectors can get us close to 140whp that would be the nail in the coffin. my goal would be for at least 150 engine producing hp.
We have no plans for High-Boost Fit AT, Hondata Fit AT, or 09 Fit. The last two depend completely on demand.
Thanks,
Oscar Jr.
I wouldn't expect Hondata for Fit AT... The demand would have to go up tremendously. I just meant that it is possible... but not in the works. I should re-phrase my statement on that thread.

Thats a bit of a bummer to here, I may not have my kit on yet but im pretty sure down the road I will like to up the power of the SC. hopefully when that time comes there will be a high-boost kit or Hondata in the works.

Was really looking to get base kit then getting the high boost once it came out but not anymore if there will be no hondata and highboost for auto
Guys,
This decision is based on automatic transmission safety of the Fit. Honda automatic transmissions are extremely finicky stock, and can only take so much when boosted. We have built our system so that its effect on the car is minimal.
So based on longevity and demand, we have chose to not release a High-Boost system for the AT. based on current demand, we have chose to not release a AT Hondata system.
I am sure AT kit owners can come on here and assure everyone that the AT Base kit is a great driving package, that really adds what the Fit AT needed.

You guys might have noticed that I'm pushing hard for the upgraded injectors in my previous posts but quite frankly for most of your "real world" driving it's not really needed. But I am hooked on the boost and want to see for myself what that little bit extra can do.
The other choices for improving horsepower - turbo/engine swaps/the bottle, etc. all have their pro's and con's but in my honest opinion the KraftWerks kit is the choice that works for me.
Now if I could only match up the right lottery numbers so I can work on getting a new S2K with a KraftWerks HiBoost kit!!!
