5500rpm is early? oh please teach us more mr schumacher.

people like you are why there is the phrase "Horsepower sells cars, torque wins races".

you can keep your "peak horpsepower at redline". i want mine after the shift. we'll see who gets there first...

The insert, how far from the charger unit is it positioned? (And is it pre- or post compression?) Why is it preferable to a 5 psi pop-off valve?

The 09 has a different engine and body, and a smaller engine bay. Theres no way it would work.

Im first in line for a kit for the 09 if they ever make one

So Anyway...

today appears to be the release date!

Do we start flooding the phone lines or do we wait for KW to call us?

Very good question Wave! I have almost called about 20 times today. I remember OJR saying that they would call us though, so I wait for that.

Dittos here! Stoked.
I have just in the past 2 months got really into autoX and am looking forward to the kit giving me a little much needed edge. Oscar confirmed the optimal rpm range of this kit should make it a real noticeable benefit for autoX. Damn it's been a long wait though. Seems like the whole world is a different place since back when I pre-ordered.

Yeah, the injector upgrade isn't available just yet either. I'm gonna need that too before I proceed with the install. I'm hoping to get it all done the weekend of December 6th.

U r clueless to what racing engine dyno's r supposed to look like

As long as torque = horsepower at 5252RPM, it looks like a dyno.

Having power and torque peak before redline is how just about every production car was DESIGNED. Torque peaks at peak volumetric efficiency (VE), and redline happens AFTER peak VE. This is desired so that you don't fall completely out of the powerband when you shift.

Having peak torque happen 1000 RPM before the redline is actually pretty late in the grand scheme of things. Go google a dyno graph of a V8.

So STFU. You're not adding anything to this thread, and I'm tired of reading your stupid posts.

installing the kit probably in the upcoming weeks, will have before and after dynos posted as well...
