i cant believe its 9 months later and im STILL waiting for results...

Any idea why i would be hearing a LOUD rattling noise at 2500 and 4k rpms, and only when it's wet out? or a loud whistling noise at WOT as of recently...

REXXXXXX,

Glad you are back on the board. A lot has changed on the included pieces in the high-boost kit. You have been gone for a while, so read back about the things we are adding to the reflash. Also, we have more surprises in store. We were going to make it a small upgrade, but we decided we to give Fit owners something special.

Have you done the free kit upgrade we offered?

I have no idea what your loud rattling noise at 2500 and 4000 is. I have not heard of that on any of the kits. Please email or call us so we can try to help you through it.

Thanks,
Oscar Jr.

You know OJR, I just wish you'd come out and tell us instead of speaking in code. Can't wait to see what you have in store though!

Any further upgrades for A/T guys as well or is it just love for the M/T crowd???

Yes ive seen the new additions for a while now, and im sure theyre amazing. But they'd be even more amazing on my car lol...
Havent done the upgrade yet simply cause i cant go a few days without my car. There will be a week in early spring that i'll have a vacation and time to send it in, and hopefully get my Hondata by then finally as well. so PLEASE have it ready by then. I understand you're just trying to make all the upgrades better and better, but its really not right to make us wait a YEAR for something expected to be released "shortly" after the main kit.
As far as the rattling and whistling noises go, im sure once i disassemble and reassemble everything to do the upgrades the sounds will disappear. Im pretty sure the culprit is the large brake line for front passenger that's touching the frame. So im not too too worried, its the whistling that im more concerned about because i just started hearing that in the last month or so. possibly boost leak? idk, but again, i doubt its anything that won't be corrected by taking it apart and putting it back together.
Please just keep me updated with Hondata, as i would like to get it along with my upgrade during the spring. Thanks OJR

I was just thinking the other day, If I where to get the injector upgrade. Instead of running a test pipe would I be able to do a high-flow cat?

Is there even a high-flow cat available or is this going to be a custom job? Tagged for interest.

It would probable have to be a custom job, I did a little searching but couldn't find one for the Fit

closest thing to a high flow cat is the megan "downpipe" its got a hi flow resonator in it.

u missed the entire point of having a high flow cat...

its kinda like if somebody was hungry for an orange and u gave them a tennis ball instead of lets say a chocolate bar because the tennis ball looks more like an orange....missing the entire point that they were hungry for food instead of craving for a small round object

the closest thing to a high flow cat is the stock cat NOT a down pipe

LOL, I like the analogy. I did PM OJR to see if he had a answer and here is what he said

A high-flow cat typically carries the same restriction as a normal cat. I would lean on the side of no injector upgrade for a high-flow cat.

-Oscar Jr.
So I guess that answers that. Now im just waiting on Wave to post up some Dyno # and maybe some sound clips
