Interesting, thanks for the info. I'll have to see if anyone running the KWSC is experiencing the same deal though for comparison.

Koi, pull off the negative terminal to reset the management system, and take a look at the plugs..... My guess is that the headers were scavenging the fuel air mixture during valve over lap that occurs when the intake valve starts to open before the exhaust valve completely closes at the beginning of the intake stroke......If this is what was happening, your plugs are probably toasted. I hope that you get it all figured out and that there is no serious damage done.

Yes, I noted something like this myself in another thread. Don't remember the details, but I think it was in 3rd gear (a/t), and it dipped about from 6200 back down to 5800 rpm before continuing. I think that's just over 80 mph.

It's not like the vehicle slows down. The only explanation I could think of was Total Lock-Up kicking in, removing the lossage and lowering the motor rpms. But that would be weird.

Ok good news, after the STP fuel injector cleaner was added, I got 130 miles by the 1/2 way point (this is with an HOUR of bumper to bumper traffic from 120miles to 130miles). That's about right for the way I drive the car, and about how much I got with NA setup + Blitz TC SP3 mode. Much better than the 35 miles / 3 gallon ratio I had before the fuel injector cleaner. I'm going to run through this tank and see how the next tank fares, hopefully this isn't just a fluke.

I'm really hating the mushy, soft start the car seems to have when I have the Blitz TC off though. When I turn it onto even the lowest setting, ECO, starting the car from 0mph feels like it has no trouble whatsoever - when the Blitz TC is off, I feel like I need to mash the pedal just to get the car rolling enough to start building rpm's/boost. It's like sooo slowwwwwwwwFAST! The way the throttle/DBW is programmed into the Fit really sucks!

That's good to here, hopfuly its not a fluke. If its not I might have to try some of that injector cleaner.

How about a "high boost" kit for AT that runs 7.5 psi?

My boost peaks at 5.3 psi. Does that count?

I just installed my digital boost gauge today - just wanted to chime in and see if it's working as it should (this is my first time ever installing a gauge or using a boost gauge).

Right now it idles at -10, and it'll go from -11 to 0 when I'm driving around switching gears. Once I go WOT, it'll move from -11 or wherever it was up to 5-6 psi, then cycle back down and repeat once I shift gears. Does that sound about right? Is it supposed to only show boost psi when it's at WOT?

Now I just need a way to mount this so it's not rolling around. Forgot to buy a gauge cup/pod, bah!

Edit:

Hmm, I don't think this is working as it should. I can't get boost to show in 1st gear, sometimes it'll stay at a constant 0 in 2nd, and other times it'll go up to 2 psi then suddenly jump down to 0 and stay there. Other times I can get it to go up to 5-6psi, but alot of the time it is not getting a proper reading. Lines seem to be secure so not sure what the problem is... I'll take another look tomorrow.

I got it all installed and took it for a test drive late last night, It had been lightly sprinkling, the roads were damp in places and the temperature was in the lower 70s.... All I can say right now is that it runs like a scalded ass monkey, and consumes mucho fuel when the boost is working. Also the cruise control doesn't work, which is normal and can be fixed with a large vacuum can or an electric vacuum pump.... My damned dog chewed up the plastic fasteners for the body work and I need colder plugs, so it is off to the auto parts store, so I can complete the whole job.

You don't need colder plugs. I was running them at 5psi and should have kept them stock ones in. They never get hot enough to self clean and eventually they fouled out. Now i run the stock ones and i adjust my fuel a little richer.
