Dyno Challenge

I'm curious about who's going to be allowed onto the dyno for the dyno challenge. I know the Jacksons arent going to put their own car on, but are there going to be people with the 10lb kit running and turbocharged fits? Just curious cause I know how much I'm making and don't want to get on there and get massacred by dudes running twice the boost.

I'm going to the dyno day. I'm not going to dyno my car as I'm not boosted - and I don't have much in the way of power mods... but at $30 for 3 runs, that's tempting... boosted or not.

I spoke to Kraft Werks over the phone 2 weeks ago and was told that it would be out toward the end of summer. I couldn't get anything on the price.

Need your help guys I was wondering what the gap was you guys set for your spark plugs? My car has been running like shit for a couple weeks. Today the car threw a CEL and would not go past 3K with out sputtering like crazy. So I pulled the plugs and they where black as hell. I ran to O'reilly but they dint have the NGK's so I got autolites. Car still doesn't run very well past 5K but does seem to idle better. I got the codes pulled and it said miss fires on multiple cylinders. Im realy hopping the problem is im running these cheep ass plugs. Im going to swich back to NGK's but I was jsut wodnering what you guys where running for the gap.

Thanks for your help and sorry for the long post.

A closer gap is said to work better with boost or high compression. It sounds like you may have a vacuum leak and that you are operating in open mode. Trace the hoses back from the super card to see if that is the problem and any other hoses, like to a vacuum gauge. I am doing fine with the stock plugs that I had to install after a vacuum problem caused my others to foul.

I believe that the high boost kit includes the reflash and injectors. You can also get the AEM self tuning programmer and injectors in your choice of larger size elsewhere but you won't be able to raise the rev limiter setting or eliminate the speed governor like the reflash does. I know that everyone with the 5 Lb kit has to remove the electronics that came with their kit and purchase the add ons.

Just ran the car after going on a short 1 week vacation. Rough start but afterwards it was smooth sailing - it feels smoother and sounds mellower than I remember. Still loving the KWSC kit, let's keep the ball rolling KW!

Has anyone modified the GD kit to fit the GE8 yet?

Or am I going to have to be the first one to do it?
