KraftWerks Supercharger Kit Info v4.0
If the Hondata reflash and intercooler result in leaner A/F ratios, I am going to want to do the upgrade also..... I am very pleased with my fuel mileage on the highway but city driving is dissapointing in comparison and much worse than it was stock..... My car runs much cooler than it did in stock form in traffic, I think due to the richness of the fuel mixture.
So slow down.

Thanks for the response Oscar JR..... I have to admit that it is hard to not want to use the new found power but I have been keeping my foot out of it much more than I have previously and using minimal throttle openings and gradually increasing it as needed to continue accelleration..... Thinking about it, I believe that the addition of ethanol in the summer gasoline blend is what is hurting my mileage because my wife is complaining that her mileage has dropped.
there has been plenty interest, and i really hope they jump on this....
but honestly i would prefer they expand on what they are offering now, i.e. working on a hondata reflash/or upped boost levels for the base kits, be it a/t or m/t and just getting around to the other cars they are going to have products for.
imagine if you drove a 06+ civic....you would have to be a very patient person.!
It will be at the end of summer, I was told in a phone call awhile back.... We that have the base kit already know that it is going to perform flawlessly and be an easy installation when it is available.
Are you talking about the release of highboost/intercooler? I could really use that right now, my car is getting heavily bogged down with heatsoak. Engine bay is too hot to touch for more than a couple seconds after moderate driving.
Finally had some cool weather today, and I have to say the car feels completely different... better FE, easier/smoother/faster acceleration, less throttle for the same results, the glorious torque - why can't it be cool weather all the time? Hot summer weather sucks!
The KWSC really shines as long as it's not 80-90+ degrees outside, but once it gets there the gains are really subdued compared to how it "should" feel.

True, but what I'm getting at is that this kit works really well and shows off its full potential when it's nice and cool outside, while in the heat it doesn't really show off for how much it costs - which might be an obvious thing to say, sure, but some people might be only able to use it in areas that are hot most of the time, or maybe they installed their kit during the summer and feel that it's not living up to the hype. I have no doubts about my purchase of this kit and its performance when it's cool, but these continuously hot summer months have been making me a little disappointed considering the $$$ dropped into the kit. Come fall/winter I'll be raving about how good it is again haha.

It was cool and raining the first drive I took after installation and it hasn't been as fast since..... It will be early October before the temperature is in the 70s and that will for the most part be mornings and evenings.... I am happy that it rained last night and it only hit the low 90s today but we saw low 80s for a few hours.... I believe there is only a 2 HP loss for every 10 degrees of heat on a boosted car, but it feels like more when there isn't much to begin with.
Thinking of buying a kit for my A/T fit and was wondering with the kit can u use a BOV and intercooler bc I had seen someone with a BOV and a intercooler on there SC. Just wondering about it???????
Yes and yes. Top mounted intercooler that works with a cowl scoop is coming out soon. BOV can be done, take a look at Leonine's Fit.
Just take your time and look through this thread & Kraftwerks website. Everything you've asked has been answered.
I can't see the kit for it for me if there's that much of a dramatic difference in cooler temps. I know about how cold air can be compressed more in a turbo and etc, but come on, I live in AZ and today is about 113 degrees out....haha. At 2 am in the morning it's 100 degrees.

You guys are chasing a "feeling" you got from your first time. You have acclimated to the new found power in your cars. Go drive someones stock car and see how that feels. You two are boost junkies, and need to come down off your high.

NA, turbo, SC, etc. loses power in the heat. It is just how it is. Summer heat and air density brings lower power. No matter what. And customers that have installed their kits in the summer have been just as excited about their new power, because they started off that summer with an even slower car than they had in the winter.
Our new intercooler package would be an excellent addition to dampen some of the power loss.

I don't drive very often, so it is always fun when I do and would be if my car was stock, but not as much.

Yes sir.... It would be!!!
