I understand that Kraftwerks focuses on quality and reliability; however, I wouldn't think that a ECU tuning/reflash would affect the trans too much because its just a tune. Mind you this is just my thoughts on the ECU.

Now with the 10 lb. kit, I can see why they wouldn't do it. Too much stress on the trans which would increase heat and could end up causing damage to the clutch plates inside and the torque converter.

....which is why they need to introduce a mid boost with hondata re-flash! hello kraftwerks you listening? 7-8 psi, a tuned ecu=bam reliablity. just state you need a tranny cooler and to expect more frequent trans.fluid changes and lower overall life.

honestly i find it hard to believe that hondas clutch plates and torque converters are so weak they couldn't withstand 40more hp at the crank.

It doesn't appear to be enough room.

It looks like it would fit a strut bar just fine.

Cowl/Intercooler setup is now changed to "USDM L15A Only" instead of MT only. Hondata ECU reflash is also up on the product page now... the waiting game continues

Why shouldn't we be? I think we have been taunted by this high boost kit for at least a year now.

I am in a state of quandary as to what I can sell to come up with some cash..... I don't want to sell anything that my almost 37 year old son is waiting for me to die to inherit..... I sure hope he will understand.

I don't think so. The little bastard has destroyed too damned many of my cars and motorcycles already.... He already has a Ridgeline and Acura RDX as well as a VW thing I gave him that he loaned to a friend a year ago that hasn't been returned..... Maybe if he grows up, but if he does he wouldn't appreciate it..... My dilemma is intensifying the more I think about it because the things he wants are appreciating in value and a Japanese econobox is.... well you know.... I think I am going to drink a beer and start looking around on the net and see what some of my crap is worth..... Why in the hell can't I grow up and quit jacking around with cars????

That's definitely a new addition to the site. Can't wait for it to come out - great gains with just the intercooler!

Retail price: $1649 for High Boost upgrade... I wonder how much for just the intercooler setup.

Id guess about 600$ ish or so, I think the original highboost upgrade price was going to be 995$ without the intercooler addition.

Cant wait for the highboost w/intercooler to be ready for sale, Im ready to buy!!!!

I remember reading that aluminum pulleys weren't up to the extra load of driving the super charger..... I was thinking about getting the pulley before reading that and knowing that I would get the KWSC decided not to.
