KraftWerks Supercharger Kit Info v4.0
I wish!
I'm running with an AT transmission so I'm out for highboost. That's OK. I'm beyond satisfied with the way my car drives with the low-boost kit. I'm going to run this Fit until it falls apart...I'm at 93,600+ miles on the odometer and counting since I picked it up in 2006.
I dont understand why they dont make a high boost kit for us AT guys. Just because we drive a AT doesn't mean we dont want more power. I wonder if they will sell me just the 10psi pulley
I am running with M/T and like you as far as being satisfied..... I have 68000 less miles than you and honestly believe this little wonder car will be with me until I die..... I am the one that is falling apart..... If by way of some sort of miracle I can afford the boost kit it is going to happen....
I find it disappointing that the cowl induction intercooler does not work with the A/Ts and that there isn't a reflash. Even if the intercooler installed with the lower 5 PSI kit, the cooler/denser air charge would still help increase power and a reflash with raised shift points would help those who track their Fits or who can't stand the annoying 3rd gear lock out at 75+MPH.

As for a reflash for the AT, I believe their biggest concern is the reliability of the transmission. It's not that they feel there is no interest for a high boost for the AT, they are just worried that the power increase might ruin the transmission. Kraftwerks' goal is to provide the best power with OEM quality and reliability.
In terms of the intercooler, I believe that is a typo on there site, especially since AlienCowboy already has it on his AT Fit.

I understand that Kraftwerks focuses on quality and reliability; however, I wouldn't think that a ECU tuning/reflash would affect the trans too much because its just a tune. Mind you this is just my thoughts on the ECU.
Now with the 10 lb. kit, I can see why they wouldn't do it. Too much stress on the trans which would increase heat and could end up causing damage to the clutch plates inside and the torque converter.
No. LOL I wish I did though. The Texan that has that kit drives an SSM and their screen name is Jsensk. I think they are a Houston local as well.
I wonder if there are more. Big Toeper is the one that told me there was an owner in the Houston area and I am the only other on here from Texas that I know of that has one.... I hope you are able to put one on your car.....I love it.
I hope I can get one too, but if the kit plus other mods doesn't put out around 150 WHP or more I may have to go with a different route.
10 psi w/ AEM FIC like Leonine is doing. That would be sick but I don't have the money and can't afford to possibly ruin my transmission unfortunately.
. I would rather suffer with a little less power with a small Rotrex and it's great power band than go with a turbo..... They are as different as cows and mosquitoes..... I might feel differently if I lived in a cooler climate..... Leonine amazes me with what all he has done.....I wonder how his transmission is holding out.
If I could afford it, I'd get an engine and trans from a totaled A/T sport just to see how much power the trans could take before it gives without a external trans cooler. Then use that info to fix that weak spot, add a tranny cooler, and rebuild the mule engine for whatever comes to mind.
Just get a big mother transmission cooler... I put one on a V6 van in line ahead of the stock cooler in the radiator and it even lowered the engine operating temperature... It was rated for a gross vehicle weight of 22000 Lbs and the van weighed 3800...Worked like crazy.
