Maybe it's because hondata couldn't crack the ECU, so they gave up.

Actually both the 07 and 08 ECUs were cracked by Hondata. I am running it in my car, as is Lance (Lnakano).

I know, I was joking.

But since the ECU is cracked, one wonders why they chose not to sell it. Even a reflash for intake and exhaust would be worth $500 for most people.

WORD.

i mean they sell reflashed ecu's for people with base a/t rsx's and a/t tsx's.

there would be just as many people interested here for a reflash, especially considering how well hondatas reflashes respond to i/h/e setups.

Has anyone cleaned their air filter yet? Is it just a standard K&N kit cleaning?

My filter is pretty dirty from contacting the hood insulator before I took the whole thing off, could probably use a wash.

Hondata ECUs are still to be used in the KraftWerks High-Boost systems. We have just pulled the standalone reflash package off the site, because people were confusing it as a NA reflash.

Full details and upgrade levels will be released soon!

I remember JDMChris talking about running high-boost w/o the intercooler and being fine, but who knows, we'll have to wait and see what the official word is regarding high-boost & intercooler pairing.

anxious to see the boost options as well.

i still say hondata needs to offer a stand alone reflash...though i never confused what was on the site as such, kraftwerks must have been getting calls i guess. but thats an issue for hondata, not kraftwerks.

if i'm not mistaken, all the kits can be used without the intercooler, and it is optional, though i'm sure they will awful some type of package deal.

Its a K&N filter so when you clean it you also need to re-oil it.

Any updates?

Had a string of stupid 90+ days with humidity to match here in the NY tri-state area and kept wondering how much difference an intercooler would make.
