feared,

There was a big discussion about under drive and solid crank pulleys a year or so ago. Under drive and solid crank pulleys are not recommended by many top manufacturers.

Under drive pulleys can cause power issues to the ECU, resulting in poor tuning and calibration.

Solid crank pulleys that do without the damper can cause major engine problems in the long term. There are many articles on the net that are written by top tuners about the possible damages.

We absolutely recommend STOCK pulleys.

Highway miles is the way I did it.... My manual is in the shop but there is instructions in it.... I had to work hard not to get on he boost so used my cruise control and bit my bottom lip very hard when ever I wanted to put my foot down on he pedal..... I think it said to avoid full throttle and keep the revs below 5 grand.... I reiterate that is difficult to do.

pics coming soon Ive gotta wash my car.

anyone notice that sometimes it doesnt start right away? takes like 4-5secs for it to start sometimes. Im guessing thats because of the s/c being just one more thing that the starter has to turn. will a battery with higher cca help? im looking at the braile battery Braille Battery USA - B14115

Never had problems starting the car. Always having an occasional idle/rpm drop much like a vacuum-leak that comes and goes every couple weeks or so though.

Mine was a little slow to start at first but I just attributed it to the engine not being able to spin over as quickly due to the extra drag from the new part that needed to be broken in.... I did notice that the unit also got very hot the first time I cranked also due to the part being new.

All the new bits and pieces are supposed to start shipping tomorrow - did anyone order the high boost kit? Intercooler kit? I'm excited even though I won't be buying anything for a while!

I pre-ordered the intercooler kit. Hopefully I can get it here and installed before October 11th...there's a dyno day in New Jersey that I'd like to make it to.
