KraftWerks Supercharger Kit Info v4.0
reved34. Are you saying that your car won't pull any harder at W.O.T than at 3/4 or that it quits pulling to some degree or all together won't pull?... Is your car surging or banging out?... Have you changed out your spark plugs yet? What other changes in the way of exhaust, intake injectors etc. have you done? Is your CEL on ?
i haven't changed the spark plugs yet. injectors are stock, the intake is the same one provided with the kit, i have header, b-pipe, and axel-back. i have no CEL. i'm installing a boost gauge tomorrow to see if it at full boost at w.o.t.
it just feels slower at w.o.t.
it feels like it is going faster at 3/4

It sounds like it could be leaning out. I remember reading that Oscar said that the stock injectors are right at their limit. It sounds like you may have too much exhaust flow and may need to install the larger injectors.
In my opinion the car always felt like that even after the supercharger, because of the way the tps is setup. Also if you have the supercharger kit with the update, you'll hear a high pitch noise past about 4500 rpm which is due to the resriction in the supercharger and the 10lb pulley on the rotrex unit. Unfortunately the reason all the new kits come like that, was due to the demand from those showing interest in the kit demanding more mid range power, so now the supercharger doesn't continue building power all the way to redline. Once the upgrade kit comes out, we'll be able to pull the restrictor out and it'll do exactly that, until then we'll just have to deal with it.
I just got back from Kraftwerks, was there for like 3+ hours to get my car dyno'd and such. Long story short, the shop where I got my kit installed didn't dyno correctly so Oscar Jr/Sr told me to come on over and get it done there.
I unfortunately do not have the dyno graphs with me as the printer wasn't working, but with Megan axleback and WeaponR street header (which by the way the Oscars don't recommend using because they actually lose power), it reached 105HP and around 110 torque.
At this point we decided to test how it would run with new, colder spark plugs - I ran out and bought a set of the BKR7EIX-11 to replace my OEM (that had 25k miles on them) - and guess what? My HP went up to around 108, and TQ to around 120. That's an increase of 3HP and 10lb tq from just changing to the new sparkplugs!
Once again I want to thank both Oscar Jr and Sr for helping me out and giving what is just premium customer service. Just very great people working there.
The car is great - as others have said before, it feels like how it should have been from the factory. I had absolutely no trouble on the highway or on the streets on the way home, and frankly my face hurts from smiling over how great it works and sounds.

OK. I am now really confused.... Did you mean to say "felt like that after", or did you mean to say before "the super charger"..... I looked at the dyno graphs for the before and after on the pulley, restrictor change and noticed the big change in the power band, but it still is making more power than stock even after the big dive in the upper RPMs.... I am not boosted yet, (it's on its way) but I have never noticed my car pulling harder at 3/4 partial throttle. I guess when I have the hammer down it is all the way down and when it isn't it is past 1/2.... Is your car manual or automatic transmission?.... What happens if you remove the restriction plate?.... I am sorry about all of the questions but like I said, I am very confused.https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/imag...s/confused.gif

The update kit, puts a restrictor in the supercharger and puts a 10lb pulley on it as well. What you will feel is rapid acceleration in the midrange with a loss of gains in the top end. This is due to customer demand for a better responding supercharger kit. Also at 3/4 throttle, with the Fit you are looking at almost WOT because of the way the TPS sensor and the Gas Pedal are related. Unlike in normal Cable throttle, the movement of your foot is not directly relative to the change in the throttle plate. Honda does that to make the Fit feel "peppier". Regardless your car should feel like it is going faster at WOT then at 3/4 throttle, but it just might feel like with additional throttle input you are not getting much more power if not the same when the car was bone stock. The restrictor is a rubber sleeve that sits in the intake port of the supercharger turbine. If you remove the port without the additional fuel management to support it you will blow your engine up. LEAVE IT IN THERE TILL YOU GET THE UPGRADE.

Thanks for the enlightenment.... Kraftwerks have a great marketing strategy going on.... I understand why all of those constantly inquiring about the release of the upgrade are so persistent........ Yes it all makes sense now..... Can I PM you the next time I am confused about something?

On a side note, the restrictor piece in the supercharger is a black anodized piece rather than a rubber one. I never really inspected it, but at first glance that was what I thought the piece was.

So I got a quick question -
When I hit around 6k-redline, I can hear the supercharger start making choppy, grating noises like it's chopping up air - anytime before that it's pretty smooth and no choppiness in noise (except for the lowest rpms). Is this normal, or am I the only one getting this kind of feedback from the KWSC?
Kind of like whooshhhhhhhhhhhh(hit 6000 rpm)ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch
And it's not from hitting the rev limiter, not high enough for that.

Yea, it starts before I even hit redline. Oh, and it doesn't affect the ride of the car like hitting the limiter does, it's still smooth rise but the sound caught my attention since I've only taken the KWSC to 6000k+ rpm a few times now.
this would be my guess too.
Well, it is back to the barn for me. I hope that I am going to make more progress on getting this thing installed than I did yesterday..... I wish that I had shelled out the money for a shop manual before I started tearing off all of these parts..... I think I am going to need more beer before I go much farther into to this thing.
