It's a belt-driven turbo, what did you expect it to look like?

Thanks for the pic of the insert. I figured that's how it worked. I wonder how much that hits efficiency, as it takes more work to move the air through the artificial restriction. Also seems like it might cause more variance with air temp/altitude.

 

Hey guess what everyone! i sold the fit and bought a brand new Lancer Ralliart! It's OH so nice, esp compared to the fit, i love it! The fit just wasnt cutting it anymore , now i finally have a car that will throw your head back without having to dump ten G's into it I'll prob be on the forums every so often just to check in. It was fun while it lasted, but im not the slightest bit upset. Thanks for all your help Oscar, Chris, Bryan, and everybody else that tried to help me over the last ten months. oh boy i heard the ralliart lancer had problems....

 

because im 21 and my insurance is 490 a month. if i had an evo it would be twice that lol, a little ridiculous... and the potential for this car is better than an evo believe it or not. $2k will put me over 300 to the wheels, unlike the fit lol
like what? i havent heard a bad thing about it yet... and i know first hand its an amazing car, just wait til i give u a ride D, its so much fun

 

07/08 Fit model gone after 24 months, the scene is dead for our car I think...

 

dead...maybe everyone is parting out their cars and i can't even sell my intake or t1r test pipe (the test pipe would sell within a week a year ago)

 

lol i'd buy the test pipe but im broke..

maybe the economy has something to do with it?

 

They've really spruced up the Ralliart Lancer. The first ones that hit the states back in early 00s were horrible IMO

 

I would definitely suggest waiting for the High-Boost system.

When is the highboost MT kit coming out? I don't want to buy the base and then get the upgrade. I want it all at once.

But since you're here now, any update on highboost? I want turbo-matching power numbers for KW reliability and low-maintenance
