Actually, lamin-x DOES burn. I used to use lamin-x until i started burning through them every 4-5 months on OEM bulbs, so i decided to switch over to xpel. I havn't burned the xpel film in over 1.5+ years and still running strong! That's why i carry the xpel brand only.

Yeah the clip is REALLY hard to get off. U just gotta push the button and pull hard. It's easier 2 unclip the harness from the bulb rather then removing the bulb from the housing. Keep trying.
