Anyone got pics of what it would look like with JUST the nokya yellow bulbs? Maybe on an 09? Are 08 and 09 bulbs the same?

Would it be a bad idea to run the nokya fog lights WITH the yellow film? Would the bulbs burn too hot and give the film that brown burnt spot? Or is it safe to use both?

There was a post a few pages back that a guy saw a Protege 5 in nashville with solid yellow fogs, i wonder if it could have been me?? It was back a few years ago, but i was there a couple times and had never seen any other foglights as yellow as mine. I had CATZ yellow "Spot" lights, the ones used for off road rally racing. They were STUPID yellow!! More than i've ever seen. I used to have buddies in cars behind me call me on our way to a car show early when it was dark saying every time i passed a road reflector it would blind then! LOL They would throw so much yellow on the road it was awesome. Not sure of the best way to acheive this same look on my 09 Fit. Ive read EVERY post on here and still cant seem to get a solid answer.

The glass on my lights were yellow, it wasnt just a bulb or stickers. They also mounted in the stock mazda holes too (with a couple washers). Those were full replacements so i know my Fit lights will have to be either bulbs or film.

Someone please get me a solid answer on this!!!! I just traded my white 07 fit on a SSM 09 and want to do a couple "cheap" mods to set mine apart!

Here is the CATZ i was refering to, one picture off and one with them on....

Here is a link to this old car of mine if anyone is interested. It has been sold and shipped from here in North Carolina to Orange County, CA back in October 2004

Yeah but why does the second photo have more yellow on the ground in front of the car and seems to be brighter?

In the second picture I turn off the my HID, so the yellow come out more, plus in the second picture the garage door is open so the focus point is wider.

if ur having trouble, u can also go through the wheel well. If u work on the drivers side, turn the steering wheel all the way to the right and go 2 ur fender lining and pull it out. U should have lots of clearance there too.

I heard Lamin-x film doesn't burn. I am using Nokya 80w yellows right now, the highest-watt bulb on the market. I'm sure it would burn lol

so i got the drivers side out, after 2 hours messing around with the bulb and the clip. i gave up for the day. (and put the drivers side back on, watch i wont get it off again.) is there some sort of trick to this. i took the fender lining off and the splash gaurd underneather. i have plenty of room to work with, the bulb just wont twist out. and the clip is nearly impossible to remove. thats how i got the other 1 off, i poped a screwdriver in and it unclipped. this side wont do that....is there some kind of trick to this? i can pop a motor in.... but i cant take foglights off.... very fustrating...

strength dude, strength. The first time is hard. Just find the 2 sides with your thumb and index finger, squeeze and pull
