Just bought this car and the driver door had been backed into. Fender and door are dented and it’s just as the title says. The driver side door lock will not stay up and unlocked, but the key unlocks it just fine.

What parts should I expect to replace? Every diy fix I’ve looked at says that their key won’t unlock it but mine will.

this looks like the part but if the key will unlock it and keep the lock up you might just have a bent rod or something in the door. Before you buy anything pull the inner door plastic and fiddle around.
