New noise and feeling

Hello I have a 2008 manual transmission Honda fit. It has about 125,000 miles. When I was driving today to work I started to hear rotating clunck sound. It coincides with the rotation of the wheels. As I'm driving I can feel and hear the rotating click coming from the left front wheel or the axel of the front wheels. Has anyone experienced this and know what it is and how to diagnose and fix it. I would consider myself an amateur mechanic. I can do some hard things if I'm able to look it up on YouTube and I see a visual and how to do it. Any help would be appreciated.

Check the axle fro rust damage; there is recall to replace axles if car has been in salt belt free of charge

also check brake dust shield, thats a common one that will cause grinding noise. either the shield is touching the rotors or a rock got caught between in.

hopefully its not your wheel bearings

........I presume rotation of wheel is rotation and not turning. Could it simply be brake pads getting worn out?? Not sure on the Fit, but many pads have wear tabs rubbing to 'scream',,,,,,,, replace me!
