I got my oil changed. The dealer took it upon themselves to do the 2 recalls although I didn't authorize them to...

They couldn't figure out what the starter noise is, because it's random. It started when my battery was very low. I hope my starter isn't damaged b/c of having low power for a couple of months.

Then I took the Fit to Discount Tires and got my tires rotated.

I was going to take it to the car wash but the weather is iffy.

And now I am shopping for mats and sill trim.

Really nice! Did you do all the work yourself? That's hella impressive.

I believe dealerships are required to perform necessary recalls on a vehicle that comes to their shop for service IF said recall hasn't been performed for safety/legal reasons. Again, that's what I think... I'll be asking one of the service techs/advisers at work about this since I'm curious myself now. They were supposed to bring that to your attention before performing them though.

What kind of sound is your starter making?

As for floor mats, try either H and A Accessories, College Hill Honda, or some other Honda parts site for a good deal. I really dig the OEM all season rubber mats and the accessory door sills for the USDM Fit (which are a brushed stainless). If you also want a rubber cargo mat for your hatch, I know someone local that has a fairly mint one laying in their garage.

Thanks! I gotta take it up to dallas this weekend to have a TSB that would be covered under warranty looked at. Crossing my fingers that they replicate it bc i only have 1300 miles left on my powertrain warranty. Just a faulty third gear synchro but still needs done for free if possible
