Yeah it's a little over 80 degrees with a breeze... I hate the hell out of the plastic connectors and finally went into assault mode with my Benchmade Rift and sliced and diced that crap out of the way... The OEM is crap if you are wrenching but it does keep stuff from falling off... I need to order some more of them and a bucket of cash worth of other stuff.... What is your opinion on boring out the throttle body... I think they can only take out 2 or3 mms, is that worth doing at $100.... If you can direct some of your applicable brain farts this way I'd appreciate it.... I'm considering the boomslang harness but will need to see if I can get feedback from Hondata that I can make sense of if I can decipher any of what they say.. I'll grab a shot of Makers Mark to relax the joints that are still kinked after the hot shower and get back out there and do the valve clearance settings if I haven't already misplaced the feeler gauge... I keep running into more and more that is needed that I'll have to send off for and my wife will be picking up the mail in town... She tries to bitch but I pay for everything around here including dietary products, top quality shoes and all of the maintenance on her car.... I think she should bitch since she works a 4n day week at Wal-Mart.... Reminds me that her mini bike has a leaky float valve needle... I'll do it the next brake I take.

So true. Such a small thing that makes such a big difference. I put in LED's over my license plate after I got my LED tails. Really changes the look of the car.

Put the used Swift springs that I picked up on. Also tried a set of wheels from my last car, I'm pretty sure they're going to rub (15x7 +38), but I figured I'd give it a shot for a couple days and see how it goes.

"Tuck" the front fender liners. Should net you some clearance, with the Swifts the rubbing should be minimal.

I was going to do a short ram CAI but then my friend Brad had an issue with a rod going through the block of his Civic and the same dealership that I purchased from refused to honor his engine warranty due to they felt the CAI had taken in water and seized the engine. One of the blocks did show 2 carbon rings which would have indicated that was what happened. So I decided to forget doing that - then I was considering lowering it but with my 78 year old Mom just decided that it would not work plus the Fit is my baby and I can't bear the thoughts of tearing it up especially with some of our WV roads. So after talking to Rod who is like my little brother - decided that the front lip looked the worse. So a little Seibon CF lip is going on instead. The car is down right now as Brent came by last night to get the piece that holds down the battery for a little CF wrapping and he is also re-powdercoating my tow hook. I just have too much fun showing so I decided to do some updates and try to show it again this summer as much as I can. Then because of my bad knees I think this will be my final year to show the car. In a few more years the knees will be replaced and I should be able to move around and go back to showing cars without any issues - I hope to start a Del Sol project car in about another 5 years if things go as planned.

There is no way that a stock sport model Fit can be driven in the town nearest to me without damaging the front lip... Using coil overs set at a taller than stock height with firmer damping dialed in helps but you still need to enter and exit driveways and cross speed bumps with extreme care.... Trucks and SUVs outnumber cars at least 4 or 5 to 1and people consider buying a Range Rover down sizing.... It is impossible to not tear up plastic under cladding even on sport trucks and mini vans in most of the small towns in this area.

Size: 164.9 KB Installed the Mugen clutch and brake pedals. The gas pedal I think I'm just going to use double sided M3 tape instead of drilling it in. Mugen door stills installed as well. Tail lights will be installed when I put on my ARC Magic winglets. Just feeling lazy at the moment...
