Take the time and install the pedal correctly. You do not want it coming off an jamming up underneath. Could cause an accident. Not that hard to drill them out. I did it.

I have a pile of parts I have pulled off and another pile that I'm putting on.. I adjusted the valves and only had one exhaust valve that had gotten a little bit tight, it was still within specs but just barely. All of the rest of the valves were surprisingly loose so I should be able to feel a difference in the way it runs. I need to spend awhile underneath the car due to an exhaust leak either at the header to cylinder head or maybe the header itself under the DEI insulating wrap I put on it...I'm going to be working at doing a lot of changes for awhile since I'm doing more to it than has been done on it in the 5+ years since it was new.

You're absolutely correct. I just decided to muscle through and screw in the gas pedal by hand. Name: ezZH0.jpg

Size: 64.9 KB After I test drove it around the neighborhood; the clutch and brake pedals were really nice! They really live up to the hype as they felt really "grippy". The gas pedal was nice but since the brake and gas pedals are wider than the stock ones, when I brake I sometimes will brush up against the gas pedal. It also might be my big feet. I might just have to be more conscious of how I'm putting my foot down and adjust a little. Overall, I think they feel good. What do you guys think?

I put some pedal covers like them on my car when I first got it..After many episodes of being scared shit less and humiliated by hitting 2 pedals at once grinding gears or having the engine revs climb when stopping I had to take them off... I tried hard to adapt to using them too... It was when some bikers at a little Harley repair shop were laughing at me when I tried to leave the place that I borrowed tools removed them and left them in a trash can when returning what I'd borrowed.

Had to go to Charleston this morning for an insurance meeting and coming back rolled 28,000 miles on the 2007 Honda Fit - Wow at this rate I'll have
100,000 miles on it in about 20 years! LOL!

I don't know what it is with these LED tails but there is always one side that doesn't sit as flush as the other side. Those look great though!

You drive like my wife does in her 09 Forester.. She will have had it 3 years next month and has driven it 18000 miles.... She says that unlike my Fit her's is a proper, dignified car that suitably befits a lady her age... She was so impressed with the way my car drives with lighter after market wheels and tires that she will allow me to install a set on her car but the wheels can't be black or too flashy....

Last couple things I did were wash the car, clay bar the hood and roof, and wax the entire car. The clay bar worked awesome.

The other thing I did just recently was install the JDM door sills. I forget they are there when I open the door. I was so used to seeing the black paint there instead. Very bright and flashy.

I'm hella OCD so I took twice as long as most people to install because I wanted to make sure that everything was on point. My Mugen gas pedal is actually off by like 2 degrees or so, hardly noticeable, but I rage deep inside when I drive. One of these days I'm going to redrill it so that it's straight...

I felt the same way when I installed my Mugen door sills. So flashy... oh well, it's JDM yo!

works as intended. this is what they are designed to do. It's for racing. It assists with the heel - toe technique. I have the same pedals but even more modified. My car pedal is 5mm away from my brake pedal. It rocks.

@JCrim, that is excellent, I've noticed the pedals are rather far apart for heel/toe in the stock layout.

My feet are too big to heel/toe the fit

I have to use my big toe to modulate the brake as my little toe blips the gas on downshifts.
