Yeah doesn't rub at all anymore unless you're going 80+ on the freeway and there is a big dip. Keep in mind that I never rolled my fenders which I might after I go lower on coils.
I'll take pics a little later to show you what I did. Do you have any pics of your liner now?

Okay that'd be awesome man! I don't have any pics, but my liner is pretty much "stock" I haven't done much to it. Thanks a lot!

You don't have pictures of where yours melted away? Mine melted always towards the front of the car. I'm guessing before I modded mine, everytime I did rub, the liner popped loose and rub against the wheel causing friction and melted away the liner.

Oh! No I haven't taken pictures of that, I'll take some later if I get the chance, but it did seem like it was that same part of the liner, because at first, it would rub everytime I would brake hard near a big bump, but like I said, I'm rarely rubbing now, BUT it is very annoying, I hate the damn noise

I washed her off tonite, wiped down the interior, under the hood and treated the black plastic on the doors and window vents. Touched up the chip on calipers and headlight covers. I've been driving the civic for so long that the MzFiT has been neglected. It feels good to be back in my car!

This is just the right side, but you will do the same for the left side.
The area in red (area directly above the tire) is what I took off with a dremel. It should be about 1 inch wide and 12 inches long. The two yellow circles are where I drilled holes through the liner to put zip ties through. I attached the zip ties to the frame of the car to ensure that they would not come loose again and rub away the lining again after I had to replace mine...

Hope this helps. You aren't too far from where I live so let me know if you need help.

So the red part is the part that faces the outside of the car? Or the inside?

The outside. Thats where you'll rub and the liner will pop out and melt away.

Thanks from me also... I need to replace the liners and have the fenders rolled... I messed the liners up in 2008 when I first installed RPF1 and new stock sized tires.

What happens if you leave the liners out completely?
