Went to Secret Santa Car Show - great cause! Had a nice time hanging out with friends and going out to dinner with Rod and his Dad afterwards. Added number 26 today and rolled 32,000 miles on my baby.

it was rainy most the day. so traction and visibility really sucked. the cruise was still a blast. My Gopro video really sucks because of the rain but i might still go through it and post it up. dint get the second half of the drive though because the GoPro died. I stopped raining for a bit and i did a pull with a Neon SRT 4. it had a downpipe and some other small mods. hung with him pretty well up until i missed 5th gear.

^^ Looks good.

Update from last week:

Went to work Thursday to dismount my previously punctured and patched ENVigor and replaced it with a new one. Saved the patched tire for a full sized spare tire since it only has been used 2k miles. -.-

While there, I also mounted a set of 205/50R15 Advan Neova AD08s I picked up and mounted them on another set of Tire Rack Motorsport C1s (wheels specs are 15x7 ET+42) without getting/installing another set of TPMS sensors. These are my new "fun shoes" for the Fit. I didn't have time to balance this wheel/tire set (nor did I want to raid the sticky weight pile) so I'll balance them later at school after I by some weights from Fastenal.

Throttle controller shit the bed, threw a TPS sensor code and tripped me into limp mode with a completely de-activated gas pedal and fixed 1500rpm idle while in the left lane of a 3-lane highway.

Worked my way to the right-side shoulder, fortunately I had momentum.. yanked the fucker out, cleared the code and drove home in a now ruined set of suit-pants.

Absolutely hate DBW to begin with and this isn't helping lol

I had the same issue a while back... Major "WTF moment". TWP is releasing a 5th gen ETC that has a faster processor that should prevent throttle DTC from kicking.

You need to have a set of overalls for those get out and under situations Chris.... Maybe something like Dickie's jump suit in size XXXLg for for warm to hot weather and whatever the hell they sell up there that would fit keep you warm... I have a 26 year old snow mobile suit for those kind of situations when it's cold... I haven't worn it since 1995 and didn't have it with me twice when I shivered all night when broke down in the boonies..

Yea I don't blame Panson's part. I've had it for quite a while now and this is the only trouble it's given me. I'll chalk it up as a loss and move on. Not sure if I'll buy a new one or just apply that money to other things for the Fit. It'll buy me enough sch 10 stainless to start a new revision on the secondary turbine's manifold.

This is a good point, I do have my winter kit in a basket I keep in the hatch but I haven't put it in the car yet.

You should see the prices for Carhart's in my size!

And as far as car trouble goes, it could always be worse:

Guy's nitrous tune was a tad off, a couple degrees too much spark advance.

Who was it that was trying to tell me spark timing had nothing to do with torque/cylinder pressure? lol

That's what true detonation looks like when you are using a big spray on an already high output motor haha

Wanna say it was on .083 Nitrous and .073 Fuel jets so ~ 325HP or so

Now that's literally "going out with a bang" or is it "blowing your top off"? Either way, definitely an attention-getter!

Rod and I went to the Bridge Day Car Show. Driving up old Rt. 60 on a twisty road was a blast. Rod almost had his Accord taken out by a Sabb because the guy tried to race pass Rod and he ran out of road. I enjoyed slamming the Fit around the curves. The Fit handles so great on this road and makes me appreciate it even more. Fall leaves were at their peak so it was a beautiful drive up and back. Last year at this show they gave out a Tuner trophy which Rod won with his Accord but this year they made it a Best of Class which stuck our Honda's into a class with Street Rods. It is a pretty classic car show so of course it went to a Volvo! Still had a great time just super cold and windy but we enjoyed talking to people and seeing a guy jump from a plane with the American Flag below him. This is the final car show for the MR Fit - retired from showing now so I can start saving for my next project car. I have enjoyed showing my baby and meeting so many great car people plus talking to Fit owners who had no idea what you can do to make the Fit your own.

Subie beat me to saying the same thing.. I think it is great that you are getting out and enjoying driving your car on the kind of roads these little cars excell on... We are going to be up close to 90 degrees here today but the mornings have been nice and cool... I hope your knees don't slow you down as the colder weather moves in.

Whoa! You're tracking your show car? Or showing your car at the tracks? Either way, good luck man! No scratches...

It is now stripped and gutted. Still pink. My wife painted it so its not like i cant get it fixed. I tracked it for the first time a couple months ago and spun out in the infield... And didnt care if anything got hurt.

I built this car originally for road coarse and never did it do to it being my only car. Now that i have a family car i can race it. I got so sick of going to shows and losing to people with completely stock cars, or had nock of parts, or that were just not done right. Shows are all about politics and who you know... Or pay off... Dont really want to be a part of that anymore.

Racing is more fun and cant wait to blow the motor so i can get a k motor.

-Changed to winter tires : Hankook I*pike on my 14" OEM rims. There is no snow yet so I don't know if they are good, but they're super quiet. I hear sound that I wasn't aware my fit did. 400 canadian loonies including tax and everything. Canadian Tires have some pretty good deal.

-Changed Pads, rollers and siders, whatever that is. It's still weird that when I brake at slow speed i hear a curious sound. Maybe it always did that and my cheap tires blocked it out.
