What did you do to the GD Fit today?
I'm still trying to find my little buddy Border Collie that was picked up by someone on the side of the road at a neighbor's house Thursday the 18th when I was in Waco eating Mexican food with Joel.... I have driven over 500 miles trying to find him put an ad in the paper and talked to a lot of people... I have printed pictures for posters and will be doing them, putting an add in the Thrifty Nickel and calling up some local radio stations.... I feel like divorcing my wife for not calling him inside before dark and I almost got ran over a huge wild boar hog looking for the dog in the woods. My car is running like a raped ape in this cool damp weather.

Good Luck man
Thanks Mikey.... I used up an ink cartridge printing posters and have driven close to 1000 miles putting them out while combing all of the back roads.... Border Collies are about the most destructive dogs I have ever experienced and I worked very hard to get mine under control and obedient to where I could take him places and have him not get into trouble... My health has been getting better from walking around in the woods with him and taking him with me everywhere... My life has been consumed by trying to find him but it isn't looking good.... The county road that he wandered down to has had too many popular breeds of dogs stolen by people that stop and pick them up and are never seen again..... This little guy loves everybody and riding in a car or in the bed of a truck so he was easy to take.... I guess I will have to use the truck to get into some of the out of the way off the beaten path places where the movie "Deliverance" best describes the folks that reside in such places.... I'll arm myself with a Dobro and wear my old striped overalls.

Well I wait too long - I have been putting it off since November to take my Fit back to stock because I love the way it looks right now. So we are getting this snow storm today and I decide to go to 2 tire stores to see if they could remove the aftermarket rims and put the stockers back on. 2 to 3 hour wait or more. Guess everyone else decided to wait to get snow tires on today before the storm. We now have about 3 inches on the ground and it is still coming down. I don't plan to show the car too much next year because of it being 4 years old and with my two bad knees it was hard this summer getting it ready and detailed. So I may just leave it as it is - anyone have any issues with running your aftermarket rims in the winter or your CF hoods? I really do hate driving it stock!

We have cougars that pop up here and there on occasion.... Both my wife and I have seen one recently 3 miles south of us but I am almost sure he got into someones car.. No one tried to steal my Doberman and that big baby would get into peoples cars and growl if they tried to get him out without taking him for a ride first.... It's hell starting out all over again training another dog and Ringo was doing so well he was trying to learn to talk and making us laugh all of the time.

I put on my new/used mugen visors yesterday.
I'm still finding it hard to imagine what it would be like to have to change to winter tires. I would love to spend some time where there is snow throughout the winter but dont want to have to do all the extra maintenance that goes with it lol.

Snow tires are not a must. Many people who live where it snows just use all season tires all year long. Of course there are many gains from snow tires.
