Man I couldn't imagine that kind of weather for one and two having your pride and joy (for some of us) subject to that kind of abuse. I think we are all fanatics about our car and its appearance and cleanliness and to have that go through the crazy winter weather that you all (anyone outside california basically) have to suffer through. Man that's rough!

My condolences

That Veloster is supposed to get 40 MPG. Its a Hyundai but they are coming on strong as a car company.

GEEZ.....Big Mike, are ya changing your drivin habits? Maybe an engine flush wud help.. I did mine, changed the plugs, air filter, and a added small breather on the intake and it helped tremendously. With the performance chip I'm averaging 'bout 38-40 mpg. But then again the highest posted speed sign in Hawaii is a woppin "60 mph" so I guess that makes a difference too, and that stretch of highway is only approx. 6-8 miles long..Haha.
But...you still got that ace in the hole^^^^^sell that baby of yurs...da- Charger.. then you can buy that other car that you want. Please don't swear at'me for sayin that!!

I agree BlueC.H. the Hyundai Co. has done a good job as becoming a desirable car co. and making fun cars, like Detroit use to be in the 60's
Going are the days when we considered them a cheap car co. Dating myself here but I can remember very well when Honda was thought of in the same way.

Look out Fit

No check engine light but since i had the battery unplugged for 25 minutes making sure it fit and wouldn't bunch up against the intake i followed the instructions. plus the k & n was new to the car.

so i just followed the instructions on here how to do it.

either i did it right or it never took, car still runs fine

It might get 12 if you put a Gear Vender's overdrive unit in.

I installed my Eibach sportlines that I bought from Karissa on here. Studied the DIY by tofuman for about a week now since I was waiting for my day off to do the project. Much love to that DIY it made everything go smooth except 1 thing. If you have more than 15k on your fit you will probably need air tools to break the bolts loose from their rust or do like i did and pay a tire shop to break em loose and put them back snug but not too snug so i can get them loose with my basic hand tools

anyway got it done in 3 hours or so and its AWESOME I love everything about the setup i have. If you have followed the last couple weeks i came up on some bronze sparco drifts on here and had them mounted last wednesday with my og tires and they looked great except that big gap in the wheel well. and now that is fixed with these springs and they are sittin purty!!! no rubbing except a tiny bit in the back when i hit nasty bumps on the freeway. and they are pretty darn flush. 37 offset with 195's and the wheels are 15x6.5 which i think is just right to not rub with this low of a drop. 2.0 front 1.8 rear. Ill post pics on wed after I wash it and get it looking worthy of having its picture taken

Drove it to work and after getting home, drove it to the laundromat.

I also applied my new registration sticker to the windshield. I'm good until next January!

i've had eibach sportline springs for 3 years now and i still love them to death . i just got my odysey high performance battery put in today. i had to take out the plastic battery tray shorten up the j hooks, retap them and have a longer tie down fabbed to fit longwise. a little bit of work but worth it. i'll try to post a pic tomorow.
