Cant remember to be honest, but I imagine I wasnt very far off the redline, didnt hang around at that speed for very long for obvious reasons.

Niether would I, I don't know about in your country, but a ticket for that speed here in the states would generally mean a night in the stoney lonesome. LOL I didn't really set out to max mine out, but I had redlined in fourth getting on the highway and it was pulling quite strongly so I said to hell with it and went as far as i could. I think I was at max speed for a minute maybe, long enough to kiss the governor and realize just how fast i was going, in the dark, on a public highway.

Awwww c'mon, I'll believe ya! What did she top out at? 185? 190? I never gave a lot of thought to the fact that the Scangauge could be THAT inaccurate, but I guess it can. To post photos, download the pics off your camera into your computer, got to image shack and upload the pictures to there (just click "browse" on the upload window) and then copy and paste them into your thread. Skip the add photo icon on the forum here it is too fiddly for my tastes. I'm in for pics that say 155!!

They've become more harsh recently with the speeding offences, 10-40kph above the speed limit see's you get a hefty fine depending on your speed. Anything above that (if caught by the Police) gets you arrested and you spend the night in jail. If you get caught by a camera then its a matter of court appearance. However things tend to work better in principle than in practice.

This gives me the feeling that the speedometer goes up to 140 just to taunt me.
