Head light recall repairs

Took my 08 Fit to the dealership this afternoon.
Had the oil change & tires rotated ($54 bucks), the low beam wiring harness replaced as part of the recall, and received a free car wash.
In and out in one hour and 25 minutes.
I'm a happy camper.

I'm never a happy camper after leaving a dealership. The one in my area always tries to take me for an idiot. If they knew that i knew people in corporate and the owner i doubt they would mess around with me.

The low beam recall was a simple job actually, depending on which route they had to go.

I was surprise that you didn't mention the power windows switch being fixed.

I just has mine done, I came in to get my power windows switch fixed and they also fixed my low beam wiring harness.

I had the power window master switch attended to last summer.
The reason for my posting was to inform all, that the dealership does not need your car all day to take care of the head light harness recall.
The whole process should not take more an hour.

I agree. Any time i walk into a honda dealer around here they treat me llike a typical person who doesnt know or care about the car or how it works...they start trying to "sell" me something and i proceed to tell them everything about their cars that THEY dont even know! LOL. I do wish that they would stop treating everyone like total idiots

I must be really spoiled with my dealership. I had the recall done and they didn't care about the indy fog mod still in there. I took the cover off to inspect and the tech had done a good job taping everything back into place nice and neat.

Actually I made a passing mention of some corrosion showing up on a rim when I gave them the key, and when my car comes back after the recall service is finished I'm given a paper saying I have rims on order under warranty. Cool.

Gotta hunt for a good dealer! Honestly it's the only thing that's kept me in the seat of a Honda and not a 'yota.
