Recommended maintenance IN LIEU of MM

I've got an '07 Sport and have chosen to get oil changes about every 4500 miles. Either my maintenance minder (MM) does not work, or my habit has caused it to be non-functional - I've got 42000 miles and I've gotten NO symbols advising me to do ANYTHING. This being the case, is there an Official Honda Fit maintenance schedule for the '07 Fit in lieu of the MM so I can see when and what I SHOULD do re: coolant flush, brake flush, manual trans. maintenance, etc.??
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I don't know about the '07 but in the '10 Fit if you push in the odometer reset button it cycles through a bunch of info and one of it is remaining oil life percentage, you could see if that goes down over the next 1000 miles.

THAT part of the MM is ALL that works - which is why I need a printed comprehensive list.

That's how it works, when it gets to a low percentage, maybe 15%, it tells you what maintenance it needs- letters A or B and numbers, I think from 1 to 6. That signifies what should be done. Until you get there, nothing. And it times the maintenance based on oil change, except for the things based solely on years, like changing brake fluid.

You could register at the the Honda Owner Link, tell it you have an older car (like our 2006 CR-V), and follow the maintenance schedule for that car.

Honda Owners Site | Tips, Tools & Benefits for Honda Owners

Won't be perfect, but at least you will have an idea of what needs to be done.

Honda has made some very bad choices in recent decades. One is to follow the herd and support the illusion that "maintenance isn't necessary" or "the car is maintenance-free" or the "minder will tell you when" or "adjust the valves when they sound noisy." Women and idiots buy this crap. So, no, there is no "Official Honda Fit maintenance schedule."

You have already chosen to use your common sense regarding 4500 mi. oil changes. I suggest you keep going along these lines. Fluids and filters are always a good place to start. 4500 mi. intervals and 30k mi. intervals are nice.

Here's the Honda Euro maintenance schedule for Jazz/Fit without MM.

Maintenance Schedule for Normal Conditions - European Model (CVT-KG/KE/KR/KK/KT)

That is for normal service. Severe service schedules can be found on the same webpage (homepage).

Also the severe schedule is displayed if you click the first LINK on the page:
Follow the Normal Conditions Maintenance Schedule if the severe driving conditions specified in the Severe Conditions Maintenance Schedule do not apply.

So, for oil changes: 12K miles / Normal, 6K miles / Severe. Kind of like the MM I'd say.

But no info of this kind is available specifically to USDM, correct?

Just wondering.

If the MM is no longer working, I'd try resetting it at your next oil change. Simply hold the trip counter button for about 10 secs which should display the current maintenance item and then hold it again for a few secs to reset the oil life to 100%.

I change my oil at 30% oil life because I live in the city and do plenty of cold starts and short trips in stop and go traffic. For all the rest, I use the pages in my owners manual and the odo reading. Every time I do a maintenance item, it write it in there and then try to change my air filters and rotate my tires accordingly.
