Talking Blank basic key for 2007 Fit SPORT

I need a spare key for my 2007 Fit Sport... It has an "H" on the key blade and I understand I need to buy a key with the same marking and take it to a dealer/locksmith for programming.

My question is this: If I buy a replacement key without the lock and unlock buttons, but with the H stamped on the blade, will this work to start my car?

I'm looking at keys like these:
Transponder Key Blank Fits Honda Fit S2000 | eBay

Honda Transponder Chip Immobilizer H Key

thanks!

There is a "cheap key" thread around here somewhere that lists out a lot of information on the fact that the 2007 uses a S2000 key and the 2008 after some point use the Ridgeline key.

As long as it has the e-mobilizer chip and you pay the dealer to program it in to the computer it should work...

(Note: the dealer is still going to likely hit you for upwards of 100 bucks to do the programming.. )

If you bypass fuel pump relay with jumper the car MAY be able to start. According to the manual, the immo only cuts the power to the fuel pump (not to the injector drivers like on GM cars) so if it is true the immo is useless and any key which unlocks the column may able to start the engine when gas pump is running

But if I have a key with the H chip in it, that should be irrelevant, right? It should be able to start the car like normal, right?

If you have the key programmed at the dealer. The chip has to be loaded in to the ECU to activate it..

Pull the blue colored relay FROM UNDER DASH BOX AND JUMP TWO 1/4" WIDE SLOTS (not 3/16" WIDE SLOTS). This will cause gas pump to run all the time with ignition on.

Ok great will do!
question.. is there a way to disable the security immobilizer on a 2007 Honda fit?
I have 1 working chipped key and one key cut that unlocks the doors and turns ignition but won’t start the car.
I want to be able to start the car with the spare key that is correctly cut but not programmed. Hope that makes sense, thx!
