did my accord horn today, big difference! Like shaka I was able to install VERY easily without having to remove both of the little clips that everyone seems to be breaking. I only took the one closest to the horn off using a VERY small flathead (i.e. almost eye glass repair kit sized) and if you look closely when prying at it you can see the inside tab that needs to be pushed down in order for that clip to release.

Someone asked what the genuine honda part # was for the '10 Accord horn - here it is: 38100-STK-A02

cost me $28 (because I bought it from Honda) - you probably can find it a lot cheaper elsewhere.

This is the LOW horn only

This is the same part number as the 09 Accord Horn, for all those that want to know it's the same horn.

Figured - anyone have the "high" horn? are you suppose to hook both of them up? The honda parts guy said they were out of the high. how the heck would you hook up two anyone with only one terminal?

I could be wrong, but I believe the Fit high (alarm) horn is by the right front headlight, you should be able to swap that just like the low one, if you want to have your alarm louder.

I believe the high one is set for the keyless entry. the low one is for the wheel.

I swapped my low one only and i still get the meep meep horn when i lock the doors.

and yes, the high is located by the headlight, the low is in the middle behind teh front bumper cover

Light show

is there any way to turn off/disable the stock blinking red LEDS - i believe they are for the stock radio, and the stock alarm.

The reason is because I installed a clifford 1x alarm and it has a BRIGHT blue LED on my steering column. So now at night, I have the blue led, and two RED LEDs flashing. Looks like a lightshow - an out of sync one mind you.

I know it's minor, buts irritating. lol

I just installed my new Accord horn, I love it. It's much better than the Fit meep meep horn. Another easy upgrade thanks to Fitfreak.

Just installed the horn myself this past weekend. Was driving myself mad because I thought I broke something. I had the horn unbolted from the car frame and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't make any noise. Apparently the horn must be completely secured to the frame, I guess as a ground. Once I bolted the horn back to the frame fully it worked fine.

Also if anyone needs the part number for the clips for the latch cover assembly it's: 91518-SM4-003

I bought two just in case. I ended up breaking one and didn't remove the second one. I just rotated the cover up and around, out of my way.

Is the Accord horn the only plug and play option? Is the Ridgeline any louder than the Accord horn? I don't want to do the relay thing and wire to the battery that is needed for the after-market air horns mentioned in other threads. (Stebel, FIAMMs, Wolo, etc)

Thanks,
