Question CAI or NO CAI

Hi everyone,
just wanted to get some opinions re: Cold Air Intake and no Cold Air intake.
with my previous car, 96 maxima, the car from factory had good HP and torque (for it's age). Some maxima members installed a Cold Air Intake for "more power" and sound. Don't get me wrong, it sounded great and when tapping the gas pedal, that sucking noise caused by the air being sucked in was "coo"..lol

I didn't install one since I didn't want to lose out on the low end. meaning, from what I was reading/ hearing, installing a CAI will provide some top end power, but you will lose out on low end (ie. when taking off, lose some torque).

I was wondering if this was the same for the GE8 Fit? keep in mind, the fit doesn't have the same power as a V6 maxima, but being a small 4 cylinder and the car being lighter, I was wondering if it was worth putting one on? (I have one laying around but if I am going to lose out on "take off" power, then I will not, unless the top end gains make it worth while?

Thank you for your input.
