2011 Honda Fit Amp Power

Good morning everyone,
I am a new owner of a 11' Honda Fit. I've had the car for about 3 days and I'm currently in the process of swapping out the head unit for an aftermarket radio.

That process seems to be going smoothly. I am also doing a subwoofer install and I am not seeing anywhere to pass the power wire through the firewall.

This is my first real compact car and I'm having a really hard time seeing anything in the engine bay.

I will be installing a 4 gauge power wire from front to the back.

Last night I was looking through these forums and I seen on the first gen it could be possible to run it though where the clutch pedal would essentially be if you drove and automatic.

I did a quick looksies and I didn't see anything, but I didn't pull back all the insulation or anything.

Does anyone have an idea of where I can run this and where it would come out in the engine bay?
Anyone got any photos for reference?

In the other thread all the photos were missing.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

I know of at least one large-ish pass through for cables on the passenger side behind the ABS module. It's a pretty open area, so you should be able to spot it.

Thank you!
When I get back out there later I will take a peak.
If I find it and use it to run the wire I'll grab some photos and post pictures for everyone.

Here are two photos.
I ended up having to remove the Air Intake Box and the Battery.
There is a batch of wires going through the firewall and the grommet the wires are going through is pretty big. I took a flathead screwdriver and pushed it through the grommet and then used a razor and made a slit on the top and bottom of the hole.

I pushed my wire through the hole by taping a small but sturdy shim of wood so the cable wouldn't bend as it was going through the grommet.

The cable comes out above the gas pedal.
Then I just routed the cable to the trunk.
I hope this photo helps someone else in the future.

Here are a couple photos.
There is a bundle of wires going through a grommet.

In order to get access to this you need to remove the Air Intake System and the Battery.
It was fairly easy to do just time consuming.

I used a flathead screwdriver and forced a hole into the grommet. Then I took a razor and put a slit in the hole in the top and bottom to help the cable go through.

I pushed the cable through and it came out above the gas pedal. Then I routed the cable to the rear.

I hope this helps someone in the future.

I was able to run the 4g AMP Power through the firewall on the driver's side.
To do this I needed to remove the Air Intake and Battery to get at the bundle of wires going through the firewall.
I used a flathead screwdriver to poke a hole on the right side of the rubber grommet and then I used a razor and i made the hole a tad bigger by putting a slit at the top and bottom of the hole I made.
The wire passes through just above the gas pedal on the inside of the cab.

You can see here where I inserted the power wire.

Then this what it looked like when I put the air intake and battery back in place.

Sorry I could not figure out how to add photos. I tried to manually upload the photos a few days ago, but it must have not been approved by the moderator.
Then I uploaded the images to IMGUR, but I was not able to use them as a source it said invalid URL.
The links should work though.

Hope this helps someone else out in the future.

@ccoggins - do you have a pic or two of where the wire is on the INSIDE of the vehicle? And I'm assuming you ran your power lead down the driver side, or was it easier/better to run it over to the passenger side?

If you can post up a couple shots, that would be awesome!
