high beam problems

high beam problems

ive been trying to diagnose the problem im having with my honda fit its a 13 honda fit and every time i switch on the high beams my head lights cut off. what could be the problem. i pulled a few fuses and they look a little burnt . idk if its justa relay or my high beams need new bulbs. i need to fix this problem cause i can bearly drive at night .its to the point its only my day time driver xD

Burnt fuse is bad. That’s the symptom not the problem though. Figure out what the fuse goes to and work your way back. If a fuse is burnt the circuit is drawing too much current. Find out why.

if you don’t have a multimeter, nows probably a good time to get one 😂

Check the fuses in the driver's side under dash fuse box. There's a diagram down there explaining each fuse amperage and circuit As I remember the headlight low beams run on one fuse and the high beams run on a separate fuse.
