"Garage queen"

Hey all. I think i came across a unicorn here.
Yesterday i hopped two planes and landed in Kamloops B.C. to pick up a 2014 Fit Sport with 55k/34mi on it. Two rock chips and one scuff on the rear skirt. There isnt even grime on the engine or transmission casings. The owners manual is unopened and sitting in the dealer book, along with all the other cards and pamphlets. They replaced the windshield with pilkington glass and claimed it on insurance. I believe it sat in a garage its entire life. Its as clean as my '19 si was when i bought it from the dealer.

Taking a newly acquired car to my bay for a full detail is therapeutic, and this one did not dissapoint. Watching the grime from my 700km trip through the mountains to reveal pristine paint with barely any fallout or contamination was a joy.

Backstory: in 2013 i was sitting at the local honda dealer. I specd out a 2014 Fit Sport with a m/t. The only thing that kept me from pulling the trigger was my credit was horrible (young kid stuff). Since then I've always wanted one, but always said it had to be this spec. 11 years later i pretty much knew i missed the train. Then I came across this one, and along with it being practically new, it is exactly what i specd out 11 years ago.

after the 30 or so cars I've owned, this one is top two on the list of "It's perfect". Not trying to brag, but i think its rare to come across any car over a decade old in this type of shape. I thank the previous owner for that!

@yycbeaker Very cool, my northern friend. When are you going to invite us to Canada so that we can admire it in person?

Is the "95" the regular odometer, or the trip odometer?

Mine's a lot like yours; I think the previous owner (an old lady) only took it out on nice days. It had 21,850 miles when I got it 14 months ago. But has the usual scratches around the door handles and I think all four wheels have curb rash to some extent. But yeah, spotless under the hood and under the car.

I'm packin' the miles on it though! Rain or shine, snow or sun.

@PK86 i had some surface scratches under the door handle and light scuffing on the skirt from normal wear. I used poorboys world ssr2 and finished it with their ex-p. Took the marks right out.

I lucked out with the wheels. It came on 15" blizzaks with steelies and oem 16" sport wheels which are virtually new. Even the rubber is a year old. I may end up selling them though. I've been looking for another set of sa3r wheels and i think they would look perfect on the ge

I did some things today.
LUYED led lights came from amazon today, plus a nice android headunit and backup camera.

The bezel was silver, so i did the right thing and shot it and the glovebox with 3 coats of Honda grenada black metallic, followed by 3 coats of clear. I will let it cure then polish it out.

Personal preference i wanted to keep halogen lights, so now we have sylvania exp "hid" headlights and yellow fogs.

Also replaced the too short shift knob with one im not super crazy about, and a bride boot. I shot the silver bezel black as well while it was out.
