Check in if you bought a fit 08 or 09 in the last 30 days.
After two months of searching/waiting, finally got mine two weeks ago on Valentine's Day!! Have to drive 200 miles to San Antonio to get my 09 TW Sport MT as no one in Houston has TW+MT.
Like the car, but still misses my 92 Integra...

Sold my 2007 Civic si sedan and purchased a 2009 TW Fit Sport A/T on the 31st of January. Got it for $17580.00 OTD here in Maui, Hawaii. I must say, it's a little fun car indeed. The only complain i have about the car is the underpowered motor.

I never get more than about 26mpg in the city - too much stop and go. When I hit the highway it jumps up to 30-32.
I just bought mine on Saturday. It is a black base model with the only option being the automatic transmission. I paid $100 below invoice for a total of $15,300 which does include the shipping destination charges. This car was bought from the Honda dealership in Concord CA. I like the car so far but the breaks feel pretty weak and the dash rattles.
Other than that I like it.

Newbie with new Fit
I purchased my AT Fit Sport with Nav three weeks ago and I LOVE it, I traded in a very disappointing Nissan Versa. The Fit is so much more fun to drive! The only reason I bought the Versa was because it was the only car in it's class in 07 that had side curtain air bags for rear passengers. Once the Fit was comparably equipped the Versa's days were numbered. I've got almost 900 miles on the odometer and am averaging 31-33 mpg in city driving. I'm going on a road trip next week and can't wait to see what I get on the highway. I couldn't be happier with the Fit.
Finally snagged a MR Sport 5-speed last Saturday. I've put almost 200 miles on it since then and averaged 30.5 mpg so far. This is a really amazing car, and immensely fun to drive. I've always liked Minis, Abarths, and the 1st gen GTI; I've also autocrossed a Honda 600 a few times. The Fit Sport definitely holds its own against these pioneers of the "hot hatch" species.
A family member has had a Yaris for a year or two. And is now interested in the FIT! He was one of the people who suggested I just get the FIT and get the car searching over with. So I did. Now he wants to check out my car and he might be getting one!
One reason might be the same reason I HAD to have the FIT, is the back doors. He bought the Yaris before the 4-door hatch was available, he has the 2-door hatch. It is hard to get things in and out of the back seats...harder than it is with a 4-door hatch. Plus those MAGIC SEATS that make for easy transportation of many things.

Hell yea, those magic seats are awesome...bed status
Woot! Long time lurker who just got home from purchasing a 09 TW Sport AT. Awesome car, my first car purchase that is wholly my own. And fun enough to put a smile on my face like my now departed Miata.
I didn't fancy the driving experience provided by the stick, at least i won't be rowing gears in traffic (first auto)

I took delivery of my 2009 Blue Sensation Perl Fit on the 04 March 2009. I wound up paying less than invoice for the car too. <3
The only thing I wish I had was keyless entry, but that looks like that will be an easy fix.
I call him Gustave.

Luv it!
I bought a 2009 white stick shift Fit on Wednesday. I love it. Cute as hell, pretty quick, comfortable and amazing mileage. I am averaging 37+ on this tankful, the second, and think this is the best Honda I have had, and it is the fourth.
I looked at the Yaris 5-door and it just did not have the fit and finish of the Fit. And it looked as if it were made from left over parts. Definitely not in the same league.
I just need floor mats now.
Cheers
