2009 MT owners...
I have experienced everything you have noted and really glad that it wasn't my lack of skill with a MT after all. This is my first MT in many years and I thought I might be out of practice.
4500 rpms? That seems high to me for shifting gears. I must be getting older and slower
.
Hey Drewski, does the vibration you are experiencing happen when shifting sooner? It's probably not a bad idea to check with the dealer about it -warranty should cover any problem. Goodluck!

I usually shift early too. For the most part, I go from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd between 2-3k rpms. I only let it get higher when I'm merging onto the freeways and want to get up to speed quicker
I finally have 1,000 miles on my Sport M/T and regularly hit 5 and 6 grand in
first, second and third and have felt no vibration.
But then I also have owned and driven a 500 Triumph and 750 and 850 Nortons so vibration is relative.
Honestly, my 2003 Civic hit 6K frequently and vibration was negligible.
Have it checked out .......
