Talking 2009 Accord horn on GE Fit

I was tired of the stock weak horn on my GE8 but didnt want to opt for after market autozone crap (no offence to anyone here running that on they're fit) but i cant stand unsitely wires comin from the battery.

so heres what i did, i bought the OEM horn from the 2009 Honda Accord. now if you decide to do this know that the Accord uses 2 horns. a high pitch and a low pitch. BUY THE LOW PITCH.

install is exactly like the factory horn. physically they look different but hook up is the same. so no need to cut wires, run wires, hook up to the battery or nothing.

here is the part # 38100-STK-A02

yes people, plug and play. all u really need is a small pocket screw driver and a 12mm socket. first remove the retaining clips on the front grill (the top grill with the honda badge) the horn should be held in place with 1 12mm bolt. unplug it, replace with accord horn then plug it back in. the harness was a little tight so just move or fix it how u want. then install grill (correct way) install clips and honk away!

also, i did buy my horn directly from the honda dealership. i dont remember wat i paid but it wasnt much. just go pick one up. save time and money on shipping.

Lets get a sound clip!

EDIT: I wouldn't mind an S2000 horn, it's not too bad.

I was thinking along these exact lines the other day. Thanks for doing the legwork. Why is the low pitch horn the best way to go? What does it list for?

Looked it up myself. Lists for $14.65, hondapartsnow.com shows it for $10.68 plus shipping (comes up on google search of part number).

Is it easy to install? Just plug and play or does it require more steps?

also does it sound like American car horns or those sharp pitched horns?

Any chance anyone could post a sound clip or a small how-to on this? I do some stuff, like changing my own spark plugs and things like that, but I have no clue where the horn has been on any of the Hondas that I've owned.

Does it sound like this? This is the 2008 OEM horn, and sounds like my S2000.

Should be right behind the front grill.....just take the cover off from the top and you should have a Sh!t load of access to get in there...

This is the low note horn for a 2003-2007 V6 Accord?

If so then I know how it sounds and if that's an exact fit, then I'd rather get this one as I know the sound well from my Accord.
