So how does this new intake vary from the one thats up for sale already? Was a dyno done for that intake or what?

How did you order something that is supposedly not even out? I am confused

Is there a pic of the short ram intake?

I will stop being lazy and post one tonight. Got my windows tinted over the weekend, so didn't get a chance to post. I'll do so tonight tho. I have pics of the prototype CAI and I have the prototype shorty on my car now.

Hopefully I won't be a lazy ass once I get off work and get home. I won't promise anything though. lol
Seriously tho, Leo has been cool, so I will try to post the pics up tonight for everyone. The CAI ones I took during the prototyping, so I'm not sure how good the pics are. I'll see what the pics look like of the SRI and if they aren't all that great, I'll take some close ups and what not later on.

Oops I guess I lied. I don't have any pics of the SRI. I'll see about taking some tonight after dinner and after Heroes. Otherwise, I'll try to take some tomorrow.

EDIT: Pics didn't show up. Let me try a different hosting...

Wow, i'd love to see the tubing nightmare that allowed you to get the filter all the way down there.

nice... that looks good.... but do you have to take out the left foglight to install it?

Wow that's hydro lock waiting to happen....CAI is a no go for me in Ohio. One splash from a redneck truck with an intake like that kills my engine. :-(

Guess I'm getting a short ram...

Alpha please post pics of the shorty as well.

Yes, taking off the left foglight and upper grill is the easiest way to install it. They originally went in from the bottom, but it's easier to just install it from the top. The foglight needs to be removed because there's a mounting bolt down there that needs to be used.
Unless you are driving in puddles, a splash from a truck will not cause hydrolocking.
I'll try to get some SRI pics tonight. If I do, it won't be anything good. Lighting in the garage isn't all that great.
