I washed mine the other day, did some clay work. I am going to change the tranny fluid soon.

was that easy? I've always thought they were low from the factory. I want to put some good yellow bulbs in the foglights as well.

DIY: Made my own Keyring Light for GE8

Made my own keyring light with clear tubing I got from Osh and LEDs from radio shack. I hooked it up to the dome light. Lights up when I unlock the doors and then turns off after 30 secs.

i used it to drive over my micrometer and a bottle of alcohol, the fit was saying "enough drilling holes in me ... drive me please" hooray for cheap ebay micrometers or i'd be crying.

Haven't done much to the car at all... Washed it and cleaned out the interior paper crap that people leave in my car... Still got to vacuum and get better floor mats... On a side note: I hate when people write, smudge, and leave finger prints all over the windows... Oh and I filled up gas that hit $40... lame

Finally installed the floor mat clips for my OEM all weather mats that the dealer gave me with my car (I tried multiple times for the dealer to give these to me for free but they were being really rude about it) I can't believe it took me 9000 miles to finally get around to this, the constant clutch pedal getting stuck under the mat was ANNOYING!

And after that I loaded up the Fit with my ALIGN T-Rex 550e Flybarless and headed over to my wife's dads house, nice 10 acres of flying field.

(poor shot of the field)

Used it to drive my coworker to the ER after an Audi q7 snapped the bolt on it's OEM jack and fell on their hand. Gotta say the fit handles well at high speeds. On the other hand, Audi makes shitty car repair tools.

Packing the fit up in the next day or two to head to the Allentown PA area to celebrate my Grandmother's life. In November she turned 100 years old and this morning she passed peacefully and quickly. We were so lucky to have her for so many years.

Quote from my grandmother (talking to my father at her 100th birthday family celebration).
"Now John, how many numbers is this?"
"One Hundred mother"
"100? That's a lot of numbers... [looks around at everyone]... well... Best of luck to the rest of you"

That basically sums up my grandmother and of note: her college roommate turned 100 in november as well.

From what it sounds your Grandmother will enjoy your celebration and trust me she will be there.
Now how many numbers is this??
Gotta love it.

Thanks, Yes she will be. You can see a piece of her in every one of her children & grandchildren. the best part was her response: "Well... best of luck to the rest of you" as it was an off the cuff remark.

Thanks for the kind words.

On a Fit note, I'm getting around 35mpg with the roof rack & cargo box on the roof during this trip. I'll have probably around 1500 miles by the time this vacation/now memorial is all over and I'll have a good Idea of what the fit/cargo/rack (with 3 of us in the car) will do. Then next week I'll see what it's like with Just me & the rack on (no cargo). The net week, I'll probably remove the fairing too. and again, see how things go.

It will be good to see numbers on running with a loaded Fit and a roof rack. 35mpg wasn't what I would expect to see, not bad... the follow up should be interesting.

My FIT hasn't been taking any trips lately and is now showing my usual 38mpg. Still liking the high test, that's more in the butt than in the economy. On that side I've seen little difference, in spite of as hard as I've been hoping to.

Another Maine run for Easter to see how it goes.
